There's plenty of rare earth metals in the USA.

The problem is the tree-hugger libtards that won't allow for mining them because it may endanger the speckled tadpole in a given region.

How do you build a computer, cars, machinery without rare earth? You can't. Who is the number #1 supplier of rare earth? China. No rare earth. No manufacturing industry. You think cheap labor is the problem when AI is fully capable doing the task of a human? Think man. Think!

Rare earth isn't rare. It is called rare because it is economically not feasible to seperate the heavy rare metals required except the industry is heavily subsidized by the government. That means your tax dollars.

Because Australia through Lynas corporation is challenging China's monopoly on rare earth. Lynas has already received significant funding from Japan, and the U.S. Currently, Lynas has opened up a Texas processing plant for heavy rare earth metal seperation. China is only country that has perfected this process. The world is now just trying to catch up. Once, the west is able to secure cheap seperated heavy rare earth metals outside of China, all western companies will leave China and return home. China is doing its best to prevent this inevitability.

This is great news. Farmers sold their crop before they planted. Farmers are not hurt distributors, probably. Important factor is the food is staying here, even if it cuts into distributors profit.

Soy beans are through the roof Brazil is tapped out Russia is limiting exports if our tap shuts off there will be nothing to feed pigs and cattle. China will see 10 dollar a pound hamburger. Especially if they flood again.

Farmers will go bankrupt if there is a limitation on export. Food prices will go up in the U.S as big farms exit the market. Keep in mind, commodities have built in waste (inefficiencies) that favor larger operation in order to keep prices low. Small farms have higher cost per certain quantities of commodities.

Lol the largest rare earth metals reserves on the planet are in Texas and the southwest. We did what we always do pretend we have nothing make it a national reserve and extract from the world. We the world with oil largest exporter after claiming we’re tapped in the 90s. Same grift different decade.

So big farms are going to just not plant lol. I go back to the point crops are sold before they are planted demand is not changing only the distribution farmers will feel nothing they grow then harvest what happens next is not their concern
