Windows Update Changed Bookmarks & Site Settings
I have only used my computer for a few minutes after today's update.

At least 1 bookmark was changed, and at least one site had the settings changed - 2 of the only 3 sites I've visited since the update.

Just took a quick look - found another bookmark that was deleted.

Never used it.

Tried to delete it,but couldn't figure out how.

It was with Brave that I noticed the changes.

Haven't checked the other browsers.

It deleted a real neat weather/radar site that I found recently.

It changed the bookmark I had for a series that I was listening to,basically turning the clock back.
I was updating it as I went - the bookmark after the update was several weeks behind where I was.

It changed the font size on CFP.

I have no idea what else has been changed or deleted, but I haven't used the machine very much at all since the update.

Re: Windows Update Changed Bookmarks & Site Settings
This update really jacked things up with Brave and Chrome browsers.

I don't know the terminology to describe it,but the more I use the web the more different things are.

Is Gates trying to fuck up the competition ?

Is there really any competition among software producers ?

Microsoft was sued over that with Netscape. So no, they don't do that shit anymore.

You should get a thumb drive, setup linux live cd image on it with persistence. End the woes.

You can surf do anything you want. But if you want to play games, you'll need to leave windows installed on the HDD.

I've noticed a few oddities myself within the past month or so with my browsers that are based upon the Chromium source code.

I recommend you try the "Basilisk" browser. It's NOT based upon chromium like Brave and chrome browsers are. Download it here:

I just downloaded and installed Basilisk, as you suggested. So, it has some Mozilla code. Mozilla sucks, and they two compancies are not affiliated, BUT...would that Mozilla code be SECURE from the Mozilla people??
