Help!!!! Need to have surgery but they are demanding Covid test first!!! Any advice?!!!

If you are going under the knife from people, real people, play along with their games. The last thing you need is a pissed of flesh cutter.

I’ve been holding off, but my situation isn’t getting better, only worse....... what the fuck can I do? I’m between a rock and hard pms e, will never get the vaxxxx, but also don’t want them to have my fluids.... I’m flipping out right now..... Tons of anxiety.....

Tell em you will spit on the swab, but their not sticking foreign things in your mouth.

The testing is shady. Make sure your tester has clean gloves. This is one thing I’ve heard that these testing places dont follow protocol.

No flesh cutting, but they need to put me under, to peek into my stomach lining etc....., throat, etc......

Have my test next week, two days before the surgery. Not thrilled but I have to do the procedure.

You think they will be able to tell if I just provide spit? Or will they know right off the bat it’s not my brain matter/ fluids? .... fuuuuuuuuck. This year sucks already.....

Ask if they’ll allow an antibody blood test as a clearance. They’re $50 at those “order your own labs” lab

Call around and find a lab that will do nostril swab.

Avoid the brain-base. Tell them you have anxiety and they’ll do the nostril

I don’t have an answer but do have sympathy. I had a baby in September and had complications. I needed to be induced early which required a test. I was incredibly reluctant to get it. Luckily for me I went into labour on my own and a few days ahead so I didn’t need it but I can share your anxiety.

Close enough. Under is under. I once had an ankle repaired. They didn't put me under quick enough and I could see my surgeon was giving her a class with a bunch of giggly girls laughing at my dismembered foot. Then I was out.

As long as you are professionally out, you will be fine. You wake up with not even a hangover. More of a "what the hell did I do last night" type of feeling.

Negotiate with them, that if they require the test first, at least ask them to cycle the PCR test the correct amount of times and not 40-50 times (which will guarantee your test results are positive). At around 24-30 times it reads most accurate. If they refuse to cycle it only the appropriate number of times, then they are still getting compensated for every positive test result and their interests are not yet in the truth.

Take down names, titles and mention that if you get held longer than you should be, or are infected with something during surgery, that your family will sue for negligence. The Hippocratic oath says "first do no harm". Your rights in having a medical procedure done guarantees that your interests are protected, so go in there knowing your rights, expectations and now (thanks to Trump) the cost of the procedure prior to having it done. Any overcharging, negligence or funny business and you should come out of the experience with either a free surgery, a settlement or at least not being victimized by the medical industry.

Either stop acting like a pussy and get the test and then have your procedure, or don't get the test, don't have the procedure and take your fucking chances.

I mean, it seems as though you don't have faith in the medical system as it pertains to covid and your bodily juices, but you have enough faith in them regarding whatever it is that ails you, for which they are going to extract bodily juices, to perform further tests....do you realise how stupid holding these two positions is?

I am getting very angry that it has come to this in the U.S.A. What happened to my country. I know we’ve always kind of been slaves, but this feels very morally obtrusive to me!!!! Feeling very down, but also seething mad at the same time!!!!

If you need big med, you have to put up with their rules. It sucks and that test is going to hurt more than the surgery. Right up the nose - right to the brian. I have done it before for flu and it sucks. Worse that a catheter in the pee hole - really. But still not that big of deal to not get your internals fixed up.

Just take the test.....I took the test no big deal...
