User ID: 44712518 United States 01/25/2021 02:47 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Presidential Curse of Tippecanoe 46 [ link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] The Curse of Tippecanoe (also known as Tecumseh's Curse or the 20 Year Presidential Curse) is the supposed pattern of deaths in office of presidents of the United States who won the elections in years that are evenly divisible by 20,[1] since the 1840 election. Because of the timing of presidential elections, these are also those taking place in years ending with 0. The presidents fitting this description were William Henry Harrison (elected in 1840), Abraham Lincoln (1860), James A. Garfield (1880), William McKinley (1900), Warren G. Harding (1920), Franklin D. Roosevelt (1940) and John F. Kennedy (1960). Ronald Reagan (1980) was seriously wounded by gunshot, but survived more than 15 years after his second term. George W. Bush (2000) survived his terms in office, despite an assassination attempt. Thomas Jefferson (1800) and James Monroe (1820) preceded the supposed curse, and outlived their presidencies by 17 and 6 years, respectively. Joe Biden, the current President, is next in line to this purported curse.[1]things that make you go...hmmm.... coinkidinky much? we shall see Last Edited by StinkyKat on 01/25/2021 02:48 AM |

[ link to www.foxnews.com (secure)] "Reagan did not yet know it, but he had been shot. Parr soon figured as much. He noticed frothy blood bubbles coming from the president’s lips. He ordered the driver to head straight to George Washington University Hospital. To Reagan’s great fortune, the best and brightest happened to be on hand for a hospital-wide meeting of department heads. The chief thoracic surgeon and chief brain surgeon were both present. Reagan would joke to the superb surgical team: “I hope you’re Republicans.” Though it was typical of Reagan to react with humor and grace, he was scared. “My fear was growing because no matter how hard I tried to breathe,” he later wrote in his diary, “it seemed I was getting less & less air.” Reagan also reacted with prayer. “I focused on that tiled ceiling and prayed,” he later said. “But I realized I couldn’t ask for God’s help while at the same time I felt hatred for the mixed up young man who had shot me. Isn’t that the meaning of the lost sheep? We are all God’s children and therefore equally beloved by him. I began to pray for his soul and that he would find his way back into the fold." ... If there was an old Indian curse to be broken, then this act of compassion and piety broke it. Amazing stuff. |

Just thought about this for the first time in 20 years. I always thought 9/11 was a poorly excuted attempt to kill bush, but maybe not. He did have that shoe thrown at him. ...and..... BIDEN + old guy + dementia + cancer + COVID = "Curse of Tippecanoe" ? |

Quoting: Wizard of Oz Actually the grenade DID go off and blew his brains out. Thankfully nobody ever noticed though. |
