Actually got back stage for Van Halen, but it was with Sammy. Got a drumstick, which I eventually sold, but it was fun! Went out with the stagehands and kept up for a few years.

There's a YouTube video of Black Sabbath Live in Paris back in 1969.

Not much of a Black Sabbath fan, but WOW...Ozzie & The Boys were on fire.

Hmmmm...I’ve seen .38 Special, Rush, Genesis, The Who, The Grateful Dead (18 times) U2, Pink Floyd, Boston, Sting, Marc Cohn, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Our Lady Peace, the Bodeans, The Tragically Hip, John Mellencamp, Sponge, Ned‘s Atomic Dustbin, Buffalo Tom, Bruce Hornsby, Bob Weir, Jerry Garcia, Blues Traveler, Collective Soul, Live, Vertical Horizon, Big Head Todd, Counting Crows, Huey Lewis, Dave Mathews, Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, Steely Dan, Tom Petty...some of these bands multiple times and likely some I forgot to mention...

But best show was U2 in May of 1987 at the Brenden Byrne Arena in NJ.

Re: Best concert ever
Led Zeppelin, Olympic Stadium, Munich, July 1980.

I was on the rail just left of center stage.

No opening band, just Zep playing 3 1/2 hours straight.

Bonham soloed for 10 minutes, as did Page, each alone on the stage while the others took a break.

Only one encore....Black Dog.

Got to hear a couple cuts from In Through The Out Door before it was released.

Bonham died ~ 2 months later and Led Zeppelin was no more.

Lol..thanks..great thread and yes, I have about 15 or so stubs from concerts over the years. You do wonder if live concerts are a thing of the past with a fake covid crap. They are insane enough to destroy everything for power.

That said, all the concerts ranged for good to great..most great.
