Haven't seen many concerts OP, but I remember reading long ago that the Who had super loud concerts back in the day. There was one in the 70s where it was at almost 130 decibels. That's pretty much like running a chainsaw wide open for two hours. Can't imagine.

Didn't see them back in the day either, just saw one of their "farewell" tours. Still, feel lucky to have seen it :)

I saw Alice Cooper open for Ted Nugent, his New Years Cobo Hall Detroit show. Alice Cooper was amazing and took me by surprise because I was not really a fan.


Worst show...... Korn. They use a lot of auto tuners on their songs so when you see them live, it sucked.

Wow! and really? thought Korn would have done better than that.

1973 Wichita state basketball arena and pink floyd emerged roger waters goes into "one of these days" it was a concert i remember vividly. almost three hours later they encore with the dark side of the moon.

Well I've only ever been to one concert. Saw Morrissey in 2004. Very good though, always appreciated his barbed wit.

Man, saw them years later - same song. Giant pig flying over the crowd. Very cool

But the best? Urg. Seen so many great shows . Pantara like 6 times .. all were great .. fucking Motorhead .. Nashville Pussy 2 years ago .. that bitch can play and then there is the mighty Slayer .. but the one that really stands out.

Actually got back stage for Van Halen, but it was with Sammy. Got a drumstick, which I eventually sold, but it was fun! Went out with the stagehands and kept up for a few years.
