"We are at an inflection point between entering a type of hell of fighting or pulling back to work together for peace and prosperity," he said. "Our country is still in a terrible financial state and terribly divided."

Dalio's stark assessment comes as the US faces enormous challenges, including the pandemic-induced economic crisis, income inequality, deep political divides, and massive government debt. It also comes weeks after a mob of supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the US Capitol, fueled by baseless allegations of voter fraud in the presidential election. 6) Several swing states violated their own state rules in the conduct of the 2020 election. Trump could have declared that those states were in a state of Insurrection and sent in troops to seize voting machines and records. If bayonets can be used to integrate public schools why can't they be used to ensure the voting rights of Americans? But Trump did nothing. Why?

7) Trump allowed the governor of Georgia who cheated in the Presidential election to cheat again in the Senate run-off, thus giving total power to the Democrats. Trump did nothing. Why?

8) Trump asked his followers to come to Washington, DC on January 6th, 2021. He promised that many incredible facts would be revealed. But on January 6th, he arrived one-hour late, his speech was lack-luster and he revealed nothing. Trump lied. Why?

9) On January 6, 2021, Trump supporters were clearly used as stage props for a phony assault on the capitol. The government knew it was going to happen. Trump did nothing. Why?
