Each precinct should set one or more "voting meetings," where everyone signs up in advance, shows solid PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP and a BASIC UNDERSTANDING OF AMERICAN CIVICS, then votes for their candidate IN THE PUBLIC MEETING by show of hands, or by standing. EVERYONE CAN RECORD IT ON THEIR PHONES, and no cheating could ever be possible this way. All preicint results would be printed in the paper and available on line BY LAW. I would argue for VERY LIMITED and STRICTLY MONITORED mail-in voting ONLY for overseas military personnel and embassy staff. Ex-pats can just give up the right if they leave the country and can't get back to vote. Sick and elderly should need a doctor's note (or nursing home administrator's note) detailing why they can't show in person. |

I've been saying this for years...the biggest voters are conservative that are basically down the middle the don't swing very far either way, they are accepting though....most time to a fault which leads us to here....now we must fight and keep fighting. To be conservative does not mean we don't believe in science...it means we ask if we should.
