OKLAHOMA STATE REP. WANTS TO CREATE BIGFOOT HUNTING SEASON

The state that brought you Joe Exotic now wants to bring you a Bigfoot hunting season, if one Oklahoma state representative has his way. Justin Humphrey, a District 19 Republican, introduced House Bill 1648, which would call on the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Division to create rules that would set forth a hunting season and license for those who wish to go out and hunt down the elusive creature that is said to inhabit forests across North America.

“Tourism is one of the biggest attractions we have in my House district,” Humphrey said in a release. “Establishing an actual hunting season and issuing licenses for people who want to hunt Bigfoot will just draw more people to our already beautiful part of the state. It will be a great way for people to enjoy our area and to have some fun.”

Humphrey doesn’t want people to pump lead into Bigfoot and bring him/her to be mounted in a hunter’s trophy room. The state rep would like the final language in the state bill to specify that Bigfoot must be trapped. Justin would also like for a $25,000 bounty to be put on Bigfoot’s head.

“A lot of people don’t believe in Bigfoot, but a lot of people do,” Humphrey said. “Just like some people like to go deer hunting, while some don’t.”
