When I was young and in a car accident, I lost consciousness and woke up to a woman holding my hand in the rain.

I remember her eyes and her voice - and I felt more kindness and caring from her than I have most people.

Never found out who she was, just a kind woman (who knew about shock) and chose to stop and help some people out before the ambulance came.

I do remember feeling safe with the EMT's.
