I enjoyed the ‘experience’ but College is a fucking scam. Fuck paying $xx,xxx dollars per semester to be forced to ‘learn’ shit that would have zero bearing on my future life. Sorry, I’m not paying for a gender studies class, English, or a business ethics course, when I’m there to learn Tech Forensics and Network security coursework. I self studied and got my CEH with a shitload of other now worthless certs. Being where I am tho, right outside DC, with no clearance and an assload of H1-B’s everywhere, it wasn’t worth it. I gave it all up because the SWAMP people are fucking terrible across the board. I’m now taking up pet Dog training. Way less people, way more dogs, WAY WAY more money. Find a useful skill, more freedom and opportunity. Forget schooling, people need mentors and apprenticeships. Follow your passion, I know it’s not business and marketing? |

My entire Young Life in school I was told make something of yourself and go to college. So I ended up going to college and the best job I've ever had after graduating is $12 an hour. Going to college is useless and I feel sorry for all the Schmucks that are graduating they have no idea what is coming to them. Quoting: Stuka888 I've done everything possible to better my life and that is going nowhere. You bash people for making minimum wage and being poor. Well I've been to college and I am still poor. College was a scam to destroy our generation. Keep us from opening our own companies having kids or freedom in the workplace The boohmers strike again |

I’ve made so many bad decisions in the last few decades, and a key is that I’ve tried to look at things rationally and intellectually. It’s messed my life up completely. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73235623 ding! rationality is just one of many tools in yer mental toolkit. synchromysticism is another or you could just throw the I Ching and roll with the Tao. |
