Looks like a boat that he is living in. I know buildings in Holland can be very narrow but the shape of that place makes me think big boat.

He is obviously not skint. Must have good heating as sleeps with just 1 blanket. Always has smokes and booze. Has tech and big screen or screens so he has money.

Probably wealthy enough to live the life he chooses.

It may be sad to some but hes much better off than a lot of people.
