7.50 x 80 = 600 after taxes about 500$ not 240....so she is not working full time at 7.50 and has a child. This is noone elses fault or responsibility. work more, get a better job.

She explained in the very beginning of the video that she was often forced to clock out early when business was slow, saying that sometimes she'd get there at 7am and would be told by her manager to clock out by 7:30 because it was slow.

In the comment below, I'm going to explain why you're wrong about her, but first, I'm going to explain why we're living in an illusion and are already in the end stages of a collapsing, fully-looted socialist government because I doubt you care about my life story, which would affirm what this woman goes through.

I have sympathy for her. But I also don't approve of universal basic income or even most other state-offered welfare. That's just welfare for the corporate state that erodes the value of the dollar and enslaves us all.

It artificially lowers the price of products because our tax dollars pay for the food stamps, medicaid and child care that allow McDonalds to get away with paying an unlivable wage. We pay the subsidy with our own taxes, they cash in on all the product profit, and their workers barely survive with subsidies from the state.

Worse, they underprice all businesses that pay a living wage, thus destroying the middle class in the process.

They get to sell trillions in cheap, inedible food to the slaves, and the slaves don't even realize that they aren't really paying $5.95 for that "value meal." They're also paying an extra $10 in income taxes to cover the services provided to the minimum wage serf who made it. And the poor guy who's middle class pays $20 extra bucks instead of $10.

It's worse than slavery. It's socialist wealth redistribution and serfdom. We haven't lived in a capitalist economy since the New Deal (America's greatest betrayal) was passed.

For over a century, we have been living a lie, believing that we live in a free and capitalist economy while suffering through wealth re-distribution and crony corporate welfare.

We've lost the value of our money, lost our freedom, lost our independence, lost our retirements, lost our greatness over the past century, and are now collapsing under the burden of the socialist state because the corporate cronies have stolen it all.

They saved the biggest steal for last when they took 90% of the economic stimulus packages and gave it to huge corporations that weren't even shut down.

What we're going through is no different than the USSR's collapse and universal basic income won't help.

You can stick a fork in this socialist nightmare. It's already been looted beyond recovery. That's what socialists do. They loot all the wealth, throw out just enough scraps to keep the peasants quiet and avoid a revolution, and then pull the plug by starting a war so they can get away with the loot.

Very well said!

But if one were to try to fix things.. how would we start?

That's the hard part. It may be too late. The only way to end this trap is to starve the beast that is robbing you. We would have had to shop only at small businesses, no matter how much it hurt.

But I think it's too late. The reason they invented the coronavirus narrative is that they are collapsing this ponzi scheme on schedule. They try to control the collapses so they can get away with their wealth while the masses are distracted.

You're seeing it happen now, with CEOs stepping down, etc. It's all be design, and they already did it to us. And I hate to say it but Trump helped.

BUT, the movement he coopted to do it is still alive. It's the movement they plan to use to start the bloody phase of this mess, the inevitable war. You see, when the masses realize what's been done, they tend to lash out with violence.

I'd say the only weapon we have left is not lashing out at the target they need us to hit (the poor people, like the one in this video.) You see, they expect middle class America to lash out at impoverished America, blaming them for this misfortune instead of the corporations.

Actually, this just inspired me. I think I have a plan. I think it might work. I'll start a new thread on it.
