This is America! This is slavery!

It gave them work experience for when they got an adult job. Minimum wage jobs were not meant to support a family. We all knew we needed a skill to have an adult job. If they choose to have no skill and work a high school job, they deserve high school pay. $7.50 is a decent wage for non skilled labor. That was never meant to be a career. What is wrong with some of these people? There are millions more minimum wage jobs than there are teenagers working them. Why are you so interested in high profits for a company like McDonalds? Or a rich business owner? If a business owner cannot afford to pay a living wage without going out of business then they shouldn't be in business anymore.
