It's not slavery! Some of us are old enough to remember when minimum wage jobs were for high school kids. It gave them work experience for when they got an adult job.

Minimum wage jobs were not meant to support a family. We all knew we needed a skill to have an adult job. If they choose to have no skill and work a high school job, they deserve high school pay. $7.50 is a decent wage for non skilled labor. That was never meant to be a career.
