Re: This is $7.50 an hour life
I'll go down to my local post office and apply for a job. I bet within a week or two they will call me up and be begging for me to come and work. Why? I don't have a college degree, but I did graduate from college. I'm retired and loving life. Yet this poor lady won't even try to do better for herself. I wonder why she has that mindset. If she has child care then she should not have a part time job. She should be actively looking for a full time job. Thus coming back to the post office, she could probably get on there and begin to make some serious cash.

Too bad her life circumstances won't allow her to get hired. She might be a great employee, if she only will try....harder.
 Quoting: Tynyyn

Maybe there aren't many jobs in her area. Maybe she cannot afford transit to another part of town.

Do you think Jesus would mock her?

That is the biggest bunch of bullshit I've ever seen.

Am I supposed to feel sorry for that fat ass? She don't like making shit wages, then go get a better job. Why is this any ones problem except her own? Maybe she shouldn't have shat out a kid that she can't afford to pay for, maybe she shouldn't have made a kid with a fucking felon who is and will always be incarcerated.

It's always someone else's problem, never hers. It's McDonald's fault because they make too much profit. Boo hoo. Then don't work for them. No one is forcing you to do any of this. You made the choices you made, live with them or change them. I fucking hate people like her. Disgusting.
 Quoting: Irredeemable

Shut the fuck up. There aren't enough jobs out there for her to just go and get a better one. Best thing she can do is get a second or third job. There isn't a well paying job out there for everyone. Some Americans HAVE TO live in poverty so you can enjoy better things. It IS how our country works, and yes people will complain about it.
 Quoting: CoolMamba

This country has been importing 250K Hindus for the last twenty years. every year. they can stay for 7 years and then extend for another 7 or become citizens.

This country has 12 million illegals here.

There are plenty of jobs for her if she works hard and picks a field and gains a skill set.

I GUARANTEE that she voted for Biden 100%

Almost every Welfare recipient does. The Dems have beat it into their heads that you vote Dem, so you get your checks, and can continue to blame Republicans and hard working people for all their problems.

The Dems in turn will give you just enough to stay on Welfare and continue to be a taker!

Notice how Slow talking she was? That's the weed she smokes up every day in order to deal with her sad mental health. Bet her week is covered every day.

Re: This is $7.50 an hour life
How many time does it need to be explained. 15$ minimum wage will not give you more money. Because either one or two things will happen. Either everything will go up and 15$ will eventually look like 7.50$ an hour again or They are just going to start replacing you with other means. Which will put even more people on welfare.

ONLY the government wins and the house always wins.

Watch that video the new normal, dent talk about the minimum wage but I think that video is spot on in where they want to take us.
 Quoting: Dave Daddachef.

You're also missing one other point that if this girl gets $15 an hour, they WILL cut all her benefits over the amount she's making now, if she even gets to keep a job, because you're right, there will be way less jobs.

So, therefore, this is nothing more than propaganda. Unfortunately, these people at this level aren't smart enough to realize that a $15 an hour raise will give her WAY less benefits, and she'll be back to square one.

Get a better job.
When you have to catch a bus that runs 2-3 times a day, not convenient to your shift to get anywhere near a place that offers a better job.
Not to mention finding childcare or affording it to work longer hours.
Fuck that.
Pay a living wage. It's about time we recognize the slave masters for what they are. Cut or cap CEO salaries. Why does anyone need to make more than a half million a year? Seriously, if you can't find affordable housing, a decent car, childcare, and groceries for a half million you're just greedy. No one works hard enough to deserve more than that. No one.
It's all about paradigms and the lies you're being sold.

Honestly, I don't think he was mocking her, just stating a fact. Like I said earlier, raising her wages to $15 will do nothing for her, they will just cut her welfare.

Do you know how many working poor there are? Those moms and dads don't have as nice a place as her and probably less food and NO medical, and they don't get to spend all their time with their kids as she clearly does since she's only working a few hours. What would Jesus think about the working poor being snubbed on a daily basis?

Bullshit. There are plenty of jobs, she just has to want to do it. She clearly does not. She chose to be a whore and pop out a kid instead of learning a skill or a trade or getting an education. That's not my problem, or anyone else's. I should not have to pay for her fucked up decisions. You fucking pay for her.

And so fucking what if she has to get 3 or even 5 fucking jobs to get by? That's life. Especially life where you have a kid to support without a father because you are an irresponsible piece of shit. The world owes her NOTHING.
 Quoting: Irredeemable

She clearly doesn't want you to have to pay for her either. She is willing to work. She wants a better wage so she isn't living this shitty subsidized life anymore. But here you are arguing that her corporate overlords need more profit so that you can continue to pay taxes to subsidize this shitty life for her.

You are really subsidizing both her shitty life AND the profits of McDonald's corporation (and other shitty employers. To include small businesses).

Who gives a shit if she made a stupid decision? She probably wasn't raised right either. Keeping people in poverty is a great way to ensure a shitty next generation that will continue to be subsidized by your kids. But yeah, go argue about how she shouldn't be paid a living wage.

Did you support a child?

Do you think she should have had an abortion? Is it the child's fault that she got pregnant and decided to keep the baby? Do you think that society is better served by not giving her aid and leaving her and her baby homeless?

Would have been better served if there was an abortion and sterilization done at the same time. This practice needs to be made mandatory in return for the freebies, which shouldn't be allowed anyway.

Affirmative action rewards the inferior and welfare breeds complicity and conditions the morons to love their slavery.

A failed capitalist system is one in which everyone wants Uncle Sugar to provide for their own failings after the same Uncle Sugar precipitated their failings with the very policies that were supposed to help them.

We've allowed an entire generation of unfit individuals to propagate in a system that was designed for self sufficiency and subsequently decided to subsidize them.

Dovetail this with the global economy and third world nations hijacking our manufacturing base with the full cooperation of our government and we are doomed to failure.

That woman was not raised properly. She made terrible choices. The father of the child is a bum she should have avoided. She had every opportunity to do well but chose to not do well.

That woman is very lucky to have American Privilege. Her and that child live better than 90% of the world even after she fails to do right by herself.

Even now if she starts to make good choices she will do well. The only way to fail in America is to fail yourself.

Our cost of living has continued to rise while wages have not kept up. In this modern world we have corporations that governments cater to that keep their profits high and the individual incomes low. It's not slavery! Some of us are old enough to remember when minimum wage jobs were for high school kids. It gave them work experience for when they got an adult job.

Minimum wage jobs were not meant to support a family. We all knew we needed a skill to have an adult job. If they choose to have no skill and work a high school job, they deserve high school pay. $7.50 is a decent wage for non skilled labor. That was never meant to be a career.
