Not only that but the system is set up to maintain this situation.
If she gets a better job, she will lose any help she is getting. Meanwhile affordable housing is not close to better jobs or affordable groceries..imagine having to choose between $3 crap food at the convenience store or taking half a day, a long walk or a bus ride, to shop and get apples and eggs and bread for $3 at the supermarket? People are trapped into these situations. When a few extraordinary individuals do manage to escape, either by fortune or enduring extreme duress, we hold them up as examples rather than saying ' it shouldn't have to be this difficult.'

Society here, and pretty much everywhere is currently broken.

I agree that our Capitalist system, though the most successful and morally righteous, could be easily exploited and plundered by the actions of evil and greedy men. Just like our nation, which was founded on Biblical principles that guided its Constitution, the Capitalist system, is one in which the principal shareholders of each company must consider its employees with utmost and pay a living wage, while letting the market set the price. The sad fact is both sides need to step up and take responsibility for their actions. Our system further fucked itself with QE and MMT. I see reparations in our future right before hyperinflation...

That's the problem right there! You just said "our capitalist system" after watching a video explaining that we are all paying for this woman's child care, food stamps and medical care because she works at a minimum wage job.

How is that not hard line socialism? We've been socialist since 1913. We ARE the Nazis. Literally. In this nation, the Third Reich is still going strong.

We're so brainwashed that we think THIS is capitalism and are fighting to keep things as they are -- thinking that we're defending capitalism!

Ha!

Nope, this is a collapsing socialist economy. And the final stage of a socialist collapse is to destroy the middle class, blame it on the poor class, and get us to kill each other while they run away with the loot.

How does adding 20 million to the homeless rolls serve society? Do you think you would be safe if suddenly financial assistance was cut to the poorest? You would probably spend most of your income defending your property against those who have nothing else to lose.
 Quoting: Happy in Nature

So I should support them out of fear?? That the most ridiculous argument I’ve heard so far, pay them for being irresponsible or they’ll rob you!

What do you think would happen to society of you cut off food and housing assistance to the poor? Do you honestly believe some Libertarian Utopia would emerge? Or would it be Mad Max, where no one gives a fuck?

Chicago, Detroit, Camden, etc, etc., are already Mad Max. Throwing more money at them doesn't help.

I am talking about what happens if you take 20 million Americans off food and housing assistance. Your salary/profits/dividends will go down and your taxes will increase as society collapses while you spend all of your time working to pay security to defend your property. Your quality of life will suffer, too.

Gee...maybe aged 22 you should be getting a skill set to be employable not banging Jamal and being his baby momma.

This chick getting food stamps, free schools and meals for kid, housing, free health care and I supposed to feel bad?

I'm the fucking slave. I spent 8 years paying my way through college and they are jacking me for 35K / year in taxes to pay for leaches like this.

It's not her poor life choices. The same happened to me. But you shouldn't have to pay for it. Still, you have been for over a hundred years. You pay $10-$20 in extra income taxes for every $5 value meal McDonalds sells.

And they pocket all the profit while you pay her childcare, healthcare and food stamps.

Are you going to blame her? Or are you going to blame the bastards the government that set up this corporate welfare scam?

Do you still shop at Walmart?

Do you still shop at McDonalds?

This shit doesn't stop till their parking lots are empty.

I do feel sorry for this single mother, but at the same time, this is a direct result of government welfarism. If you rely on it too much, it will only keep you stuck in a hole. I understand where she is coming from. I was a single parent less than 10 years ago and got laid off from my job that paid only $15hr. I had no college education and a child to raise on my own. I did receive a few months of welfare checks, unemployment money, and food stamps.

But, I used that low to better my life and career decisions. Fast forward to today, I am finishing up my second college degree with other work related certifications and looking to buy my first house soon. I am now making close to $100,000 a year from $32,000 a year just a few years back. If I can do it, any one can. There are programs out there to get yourself out of the whole, such as government grants for education and undergraduate degrees. I did not want to rely on the government for help. Minimum wage is not meant to make a living off of. It's mostly used for teenagers who are entering the work field.

I'll go down to my local post office and apply for a job. I bet within a week or two they will call me up and be begging for me to come and work. Why? I don't have a college degree, but I did graduate from college. I'm retired and loving life. Yet this poor lady won't even try to do better for herself. I wonder why she has that mindset. If she has child care then she should not have a part time job. She should be actively looking for a full time job. Thus coming back to the post office, she could probably get on there and begin to make some serious cash.

Too bad her life circumstances won't allow her to get hired. She might be a great employee, if she only will try....harder.
 Quoting: Tynyyn

Maybe there aren't many jobs in her area. Maybe she cannot afford transit to another part of town.

Do you think Jesus would mock her?
 Quoting: Happy in Nature

Honestly, I don't think he was mocking her, just stating a fact. Like I said earlier, raising her wages to $15 will do nothing for her, they will just cut her welfare.

Do you know how many working poor there are? Those moms and dads don't have as nice a place as her and probably less food and NO medical, and they don't get to spend all their time with their kids as she clearly does since she's only working a few hours. What would Jesus think about the working poor being snubbed on a daily basis?
 Quoting: Keilani

My mom worked three minimum wage jobs in FL and couldn't qualify for assistance while my black high school gym teacher drove a Lincoln and supplemented her income with food stamps.

I grew up in Vermont, home of the Welfare Queen. I am 100% against this lifestyle.

I also know many people who needed a couple years of assistance to get on their feet. I would rather pay out welfare benefits to keep kids fed and sheltered rather than making them homeless.

Many kids go to public schools just to get breakfast and lunch. The Democrats created ghettos with their pubic housing. The schools are a reflection of the neighborhood. The businesses are a reflection of the neighborhood. It is very hard to get out of this situation. Not impossible, but not as simple as getting a better job.

A handful of people control most of the resources in the world, and yet we blame the poor for being poor.

If a wealthy person gets pregnant and has a baby, that's ok. But if a poor person has sex and gets pregnant, she should work 80 hours a week and never see her baby because she deserves it for getting pregnant and not being able to support a kid, right?

She is at least trying to get a job. She isn't bragging about popping out another kid for more WIC benefits.

Matthew 15:32

And Jesus called His disciples to Him, and said, “I feel compassion for the people, because they have remained with Me now three days and have nothing to eat; and I do not want to send them away hungry, for they might faint on the way.”
 Quoting: Happy in Nature

You're poor mom having to work three jobs and then no help, living in FL I can totally relate to that. Which is why it completely escapes me why you feel sorry for her.

She is NOT like your mom. She is only working part time and seems to have no desire to get another job or schooling. Then government rewards her with a big apartment, Medicaid, food stamps and lots of time to spend with your kids, which your mom did NOT, so no comparison.

How on God's green earth do you find that fair that your mom had to work her a// off and not have time to spend with you guys, but this chic can work just a couple hours a month and get sh/t handed to her and still complains???

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79390582

No, this is life under Democrat rule.

By keeping them blacks down, by aborting the kids they kill the families, by having no families they have more poverty, by paying welfare they recipients do better to have more kids with different men, by having different men no legitimate man will step in, thus the one parent system. etc....

They made their bed with the Democrats who enslaved them, they hate the conservatives who freed them, now they are enslaved again and kept for voting slaves.

So change you statement to Slavery in Democratic Run Cities for accuracy.

Had these stupid, idiot fucks sided with conservatism generations ago, (a generation in that community is 14 or 15 years)they would not be in this predicament.

Its not fixable. Democrats fucked blacks over, again and again and again and again.

I have a better idea! Leave them on the assistance. The looters are trying to get the middle class and the poor class mad at each other so they can get us to kill each other while they run away with the loot.

BUT, if we don't do their dirty work for them, they're fucked.

In her Planet Lockdown interview, Catherine Austin Fitts said that we're the ones building our own prison. As long as we're buying from any large corporation that benefits from this scheme, we're supporting our own demise.

Instead, buy ONLY small. For everything. That means you'll be unable to buy many things and will be severely inconvenienced and it will cost more.

Believe me when I say this is coming anyway, but on steroids. Imagine not being able to find food at all or paying $10 for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. That's what is about to happen in a matter of months because we're paying them to do this to us. Plus, we'll be fighting for our lives because we fell into the trap and the middle class and lower class started killing each other.

Don't do it.

Let them do all the welfare they want, just don't make it profitable for them. This only works if we buy their big businesses. They take our money to subsidize low wages, but they do this so they can keep 100% of their profits from sales.

If WE aren't buying shit from them, then they aren't making a dime and this scheme doesn't work for them.

We pull the plug on OUR terms.

Buy only local small businesses. Don't buy things at all if they come from a large corporation. Don't buy products made by a large corporation.

This is hard. Think of the basics, like toilet paper. You'll probably have to start buying a local brand from a local store. You'll be down to very basic existence. You'll have to make all meals fresh from local produce, find local farmers with pigs and cows. This is really hard to do.

But the alternative is getting your weapons out and preparing to defend your life because the corporations will start the civil war very soon now, within months. It's already starting to an extent. The first shots have already been heard round the world.

But this plan would unite both the poor and middle class. It's a way we can ALL fight back, and it doesn't require guns, it requires cooperation and mutual aid.

Imagine working with your local community to find non-big corporate sources for all the basic necessities of life. It's an effort that would require near military precision.

But if we did it, they would know they were fucked. The looting would stop FAST. You'd be shocked at how fast money started pouring back into this economy. I bet they'd bring back initiatives like the interstate highway project and infrastructure development. It would be their only hope to save themselves.

It helps if you look at this from the perspective that we're already living in a socialist banana republic. The way of life we've been fighting for doesn't even exist. It's an illusion.
Your perspective changes when you're living through the apocalypse.

Get a better job.
When you have to catch a bus that runs 2-3 times a day, not convenient to your shift to get anywhere near a place that offers a better job.
Not to mention finding childcare or affording it to work longer hours.
Fuck that.
Pay a living wage. It's about time we recognize the slave masters for what they are. Cut or cap CEO salaries. Why does anyone need to make more than a half million a year? Seriously, if you can't find affordable housing, a decent car, childcare, and groceries for a half million you're just greedy. No one works hard enough to deserve more than that. No one.
It's all about paradigms and the lies you're being sold.

Yes, that's EXACTLY what I'm saying. This corporate scheme exists so that McDonalds can underprice all their competition, get the highest volume of sales, pay the lowest wages because YOU'RE subsidizing them, and run away with 95% of the profit.

You see, small business gives back to the community. They pay living wages because they have to, and the money spent there is reinvested in the local economy by the owner.

Large corporations suck money out of communities. They pay the lowest wages but offer help for workers to get welfare, and the money spent there goes to corporate headquarters in another state or another country, not back into the community were the money was spent.

You see? That's the scam.

Section 8, all that shit, makes large corporations able to underprice small businesses and then suck money out of local communities. :D It's confusing till you see the scam. Maybe I should make a video on it.

Listen, I washed cars for 8 hours a day. Then I ate dinner and caught a ride to another county and worked another 4 hours washing cars. When I got home, my feet were wrinkled and bleached white from the chemicals. The skin used to fall off of my soles. I did this 5 days a week and some Saturdays.

Why? Because I wanted to eat and have a roof over my head.

I bought a car for $600 and fixed anything that broke on it with cheap tools I bought at Advanced Auto. I had 2-3 roommates in a 2 bedroom apartment and slept on the couch.

Life SHOULD be hard when you are young. It teaches you to be strong and how you must work for everything. Do this right, and life will get easier as you get older. Take the easy way out, and you will ALWAYS BE POOR.

Just facts.

But they could not get pregnant, IVF maybe, donor egg etc.

Re: This is $7.50 an hour life
I'll go down to my local post office and apply for a job.

Do you think Jesus wants her to be a drag on society? People make mistakes everyday on this old rock. But if you continue to do the same mistakes then it is up to YOU to make amends, not society. If she was truly a Christian woman then she would realize her main priority in life is following Jesus and do what is necessary to make God happy. Do you think God is smiling down on her? She is supporting her child? Is she grousing about her inability to get paid better? She has the responsibility to make the best situation out of her happenstance. Can she improve her lot in life, sure. Is she trying? IDK, but her thighs sure do show that she isn't scrimping on the donuts or sugary products. She can get $20/hr at the post office and I'm sure she has a branch near her house. If she can travel to a McDonalds for $7.50 for part time work, then she certainly can walk down to the locals post office in the same amount of time. What would Jesus do in her situation?

Gee...maybe aged 22 you should be getting a skill set to be employable not banging Jamal and being his baby momma.

This chick getting food stamps, free schools and meals for kid, housing, free health care and I supposed to feel bad?

I'm the fucking slave. I spent 8 years paying my way through college and they are jacking me for 35K / year in taxes to pay for leaches like this.

Poor life choices, why the hell should I have to pay for her bad choices!
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78894181

It's not her poor life choices. The same happened to me. But you shouldn't have to pay for it. Still, you have been for over a hundred years. You pay $10-$20 in extra income taxes for every $5 value meal McDonalds sells.

And they pocket all the profit while you pay her childcare, healthcare and food stamps.

Are you going to blame her? Or are you going to blame the bastards the government that set up this corporate welfare scam?

Do you still shop at Walmart?

Do you still shop at McDonalds?

This shit doesn't stop till their parking lots are empty.

I grow fruit and vegetables, buy healthy food to eat. I don’t shop at Walmart, you couldn’t pay me to eat any fast food crap and yet I still pay for the welfare scam...yes I do blame her.
 Quoting: lazydaze

So you mean to tell me that you haven't bought a single item at Walmart, from Amazon, Best Buy, Target, any of those monster corporations in the past decade at least?

Not buying it.
 Quoting: Green Eggs & Ham

Ive’d used amazon but do my best to grow as much as I can and don’t even have WiFi. What do you do? You eat fast food and shop at Walmart I bet.
You’re blaming companies...it’s always someone else’s fault you have a crap life right? Raise the minimum wage and any small businesses that are left will fold. I’m not sure of your point. Again, what do you do?
 Quoting: lazydaze

Oh no, I jumped in on that conversation but I wasn't supporting the idea of changing the minimum wage at all. That's irrelevant.

As far as what I do, I've only started. I haven't even figured out the toilet paper problem yet. We have a small factory in town so I may visit them with a plan.

Meanwhile, no, I actually don't eat fast food, literally ever. I'd vomit. I haven't eaten anything like that for years and years. And I haven't shopped at Walmart either, but they're just one company. I HAVE shopped at Amazon, but killed my account the day I saw the Catherin Austin Fitts interview. Here it is by the way: [link to www.bitchute.com (secure)]

This is a new idea for me, and like I said, it's going to require an enormous lift. Maybe a concept like a "middle class union" to tweak their noses a bit. Only buy from these businesses that aren't traitors trying to kill us all.

I'm just now coming up with this idea so I'll take input with great appreciation.

I have a better idea! Leave them on the assistance. The looters are trying to get the middle class and the poor class mad at each other so they can get us to kill each other while they run away with the loot.

Because I think it is in the best interest of society not to toss 20 million people on the street, regardless of my personal views on the subject. I know many people who needed a couple years of help to get on their feet. I know a couple people who committed suicide because they figured their kids would be better off receiving SSI/insurance payouts than being homeless. I know children who would have been much better off living in a cheap apartment than on the street.

We need a mass restructuring of our economic system and society that will take a generation or two with compassionate leadership. I think that one of the failures of the left was not to engage with Trump about how to reform inner cities. I do believe that financial assistance should require some form of community service in a manner that respects the poor and the community at large. Trump's biggest asset is his ability to motivate people. He needs to take MAGA energy into the inner cities. We have seen things only get worse through the Democrats who depend on keeping the poor poor so they can dangle aid.

I don't like the idea of a large welfare state. I don't like that my mom had to work her ass off because my dad gambled away our life savings and couldn't make the measly $100 a month child support payments. I wish that she had been given a little aid and worked fewer hours so that I had time with her instead of having to get a full time job days after my 16th birthday to help make ends meet. I occasionally stole food from my fast food restaurant job to give to my sisters because my mom's income was not enough to support three teenagers, shitty car and a cheap rental in a drug neighborhood. I can empathize with the misery and hopelessness of being poor. It was so stressful. I have seen or heard about a number of people who killed themselves because of financial difficulties. That should never happen. It's about the greater good. I am not advocating a welfare lifestyle. I do believe that we should be able to support ourselves on a minimum wage job instead of working like cogs to feed the machine.

There are no simple solutions, but chastising the poor because some of us were able to escape the poverty cycle is not the answer.
