In vermont they tax commercial trucks with diesel engines. When you enter the state you have to keep tabs on the miles. Then once a month report it to Vermont and pay your taxes.

We now have a zillion taxes and are so conditioned to it that all resistance has been bred right out of us.

Yup, my wife atm drives 103 miles round trip for her job, before i retired my mileage varied from 30 miles to 150 miles a day!

Not only are they grasping at straws for tax $$ they are going to try and push working people back to the cities, we have all seen how one or two big Metro areas can decide an election for a entire state!

In the end any mileage tax will be passed on to consumers for which most of us already pay this tax every time we fuel up so why not tax electric cars only?

Remember....the few controlling the many. The secret is getting rid of the few.
