It was good to hear him talk if for no other reason than to end up discovering that the man is actually fully in control of his faculties, super-intelligent, rational, canny, sharp as a blade and calm.
Bombshell information landed in his lap, and now he is a man on a mission. The fact he "found Jesus" makes him bring religious things into the equation sometimes. That, when coupled with all the disturbing stuff he has made public, makes him a perfect target for ridicule. It kind of goes with the territory.
