One last point: The CCP is responsible for 100 million deaths - GENOCIDE! The Holocaust was 6-12 million depending on the source and WWII happened. Nothing happens to China because, God forbid, they have the bomb.

They helped this election that people are fuming over because they do NOT want China in America

People are angry for this reason. Yes, it would be wonderful if we could all get along, but it isn't going to happen in this world now. End of Days are here.
 Quoting: WhiteAngel

"The CCP is responsible for 100 million deaths"

Communism is blamed for 100 million deaths... not the CCP.

So source please?

"The Holocaust was 6-12 million depending on the source"

The holocaust was made up!

There are far too many liars... and to few "facts".

Re: Mezzo's Thursday Mezzage, the final chapter..
Life is a garden.

There are life sustaining plants and there are invasive weeds. The weeds are not only minimal in nutrients, but can be potentially fatal. They need less to survive and will thrive even in the harshest of environments.

The farmer did not plant the weeds. They made their way into the garden on their own. No matter how long they grow alongside the fruit, they can never become as the fruit. But, if the farmer does not remove them, their roots will choke out those of the life giving plants, and erode the soil of its' richness.

The result would be devastating. There would be no sustenance; only emptiness and death.

It is not hate that drives the farmer to pull the weeds from his garden, but the survival of life itself.

As much as people would like to think otherwise, the same is true of man.

EACH TO HIS OWN KIND.
 Quoting: ~Jazzy~

I don't always know what you exactly mean with your words Jazzy, but that must be my level of intellect.

If you talk about invasive weeds as people who voted for the other party and fruits as the ones who voted for your side, then that is exactly the division in our communities that I am talking about. That would mean there is no room for other life or that they are subjective to the other and I simply refuse to believe that.

Also this weed has been planted, for a long, long time.
 Quoting: InterMezzo

Brief thoughts from another tough but delicate old weed. Those weeds may be different than the cherished crop but hold incredible healing powers, an important component of God's pharmacy. They may survive a long draught or flood and be available when we need them the most. Wiping them out would have devastating consequences.

I agree with what you said in your post Mezzo. It is impossible decipher the truth these days. I don't hold anger and resentment at those who voted opposite of me or the those who would call me a deplorable racist nazi. Instead I am saddened that the programming and plans that have been in place all of these years has been so successful. Drastic measures are needed and I believe they will be unpleasant.

Some of those so affected are my own nieces and nephews whose sweetness and innocence are still visible in their eyes. Between the school system, social and mainstream media and parents who also are impaired by programming, how are they not victims deserving of love and kindness and continued attempts at gentle awakening?

My dear friends, I hope everyone is doing well. hf

I have been absent for a while, till after the inauguration, for reasons I mentioned in earlier threads. In my opinion, the hate, division and insults on this forum have been off the charts lately and I could do without all that negative energy for a bit. I also know for a big part of my American friends the outcome of the election was not as they expected and it is a human reaction that it caused anger, sadness and frustration and people should be allowed to get that out. No problem at all.

Yet I have to get some more words off my chest regarding the current atmosphere. Read it or skip it. The choice is as always yours of course.

The thing that triggered me to write this, is the generalizing of everyone who did not vote for Trump. They are referred to as frauds, demonrats, criminals and what not. I find it quite disrespectful to put everyone who does not share the same opinion under the same umbrella. I know it is for sure in many cases not meant to be taken personally and mainly directed to those in charge, but I do hope you do know that many people we consider friends here, are a major core part of this forum, who put in a lot of effort on a daily basis to keep this community alive, but do not share the same views.

We live in a society where slick and loud mouthed media driven marketeers on either side of the political spectrum try to not only get everyone in their camp and sell their product, but use the most aggressive ways to ridicule the other side. If you are not with us, you are against us. And we the people copy that behavior. On to our friends, families and whoever else and let it destroy and divide long lasting friendships and relationships.

We have become a schoolyard bully society driven by schoolyard bully leaders. We rather doubt the loss of a loved one due to the coronavirus and demand proof or claim that provided proof is fake than to show respect and offer condolences and support. That is how far we have drifted from our core as humans among each other. Doesn’t that make you sad and angry either? It does me.

There are many who root for war, civil or global. Claim that it is the only way to restore balance and freedom. How fucked up is that? If you want to know the consequences of war, ask those completely destroyed families in war torn countries, living in refugee camps far away from home, with nothing else left than the clothes they wear. What balance and freedom? Those in power will still be in power, maybe replaced by someone else, but still in the same power structure and those who struggled before will struggle even more, with the high risk of losing loved ones added to that. So, what balance and freedom??

I am a dreamer, naive and the ultimate optimist, against the current. So be it. And no one has to agree with me either. I don’t claim to know it all. Not by far. I just hope that when the fog of frustration, anger and sadness settles, we find a moment to reflect on that and that we realize ourselves that our neighbor is not our enemy, that there should be room again for common ground or different views.

That we realize ourselves that when push comes to shove, those so called leaders will not be the ones on our doorstep to help us solve our daily struggles in life. To pay our mortgages, rent, bills or to make sure there is food on the table. We ourselves are the ones that do. Our friends and family do whenever and if they are able to.

That we realize ourselves that we are the ones who shape our future and our freedom, through our own strength, qualities, instincts and beliefs. And that we realize ourselves that succeeding in life as a person, as people and as society is not bound to politics, lifestyle or religion, but to recognizing, respecting, acknowledging and stimulating the unique qualities and talents in each other.

I know of the personal struggles of some on here, probably better than anyone. I have always tried to support and help as much as I could, without judging, without questioning someone’s belief, political view or lifestyle. And I know, looking at how many fantastic people came together through the Christmas GiveAway to unbiased help so many in need, that I am not alone in that thought.

So I will say it again, our neighbor (in the broadest sense of the word) is not our enemy. As a dreamer, naivist and ultimate positivist I can only hope that after mourning the loss many experience, we come to our senses and rely on our own instincts again, instead of blindly following those media horny megaphone marketeers of today, who claim to be our leaders and know what is best for us, as said on either side of the political spectrum. Let's shape our own future, we don't need others to do that for us. Try not to be a parrot, but believe in our own unique self and the qualities and talents of those around us, even if their view on life does not match ours. Try to find common ground or agree to disagree, but live and let live. Stick together. It is the only way to get back to a better and more humane society again, for all of us.

Just my probably way too long two cents again. Much love and wisdom to everyone! grouphug

Such beautiful words of wisdom and truth. I think of how many of my family members did not like Pres. Trump. I could not ever want war or even harsh words between us. Somehow we must brush off these feelings of anger and disappointment and just try to work together again without pointing fingers and generalizing people as groups and enemies. Every person in this country has family and neighbors...and we all are connected. Please pray for this country and all the countries of the world that we may remember we are capable of goodwill, love and laughter.
Maybe it has always been this way and we all just are waking up because the illusion is dissipating. This may be the time that the power of love and kindness unites us once again.

So let me get this straight. We can't do anything about the theft of our county by Marxists - so keep loving our neighbor?
The last thing on my mind is to somehow get angry at other people who might be deluded into thinking everything is fine, or who are hateful to me. I believe most people feel the same way. This would be like yelling in pain and anger at the sky while your foot is in the fire.
It is not our neighbors who stole our children's and grandchildren's country - but the people who did this ARE known.
I've not changed my attitude towards my neighbors because of this. Jesus tells us to love them as ourselves.

This is loser talk.

So there is nothing we can do? Really?
Do you not understand that our vote will no longer matter? Did you not observe the blatant, orchestrated, fraud and theft of the election right out in the open? Did not think it strange that the most vile, reprobate candidates for president and vice president were forced on us as if to say to us, "you WILL take this, and you can't do anything to stop us!" DO you not realize that the same communist "machine" that accomplished this Maoist coup will only become more entrenched and powerful?

This ^

I had to look up "Mezzo" since today is his birthday thread is going on.

Advising us to just smile while the country is stolen and destroyed is just bad advice.

Have a nice birthday anyway. :)

Happy Birthday Intermezzo!

Thanks for your kindness & charity throughout the years.

I must ask you though, now that WAR is surely upon us, will you urge us not to fight for TRUTH?

Or will you wish us Godspeed?

Will you join the side of truth or stay neutral as the world crumbles under the weight of fascist totalitarianism & civil unrest on a level not seen in many centuries?
