The main character grew up in the one dedicated to serving others, and left it (which is rare to leave the one you were raised in) for Dauntless (the one about bravery with all the guns etc.)

Oh btw when "the smart" faction uses those shots and mind tech to take over the mind of the Dauntless they immediately send them to murder every single member of the clan dedicated to Serving others (since they run most of the government).

The "normal" humans watching them like experiement let it all happen and dont stop it (for the sake of the experiment)
