I'm assuming you're resentful not because Hitler is being associated with the left, but because he, in your mind, is a rightist who you admire.

If so, most folks are unlike you and resent Hitler being associated with the left because they're of the left too. But Hitler was very much a liberal/leftist/progressive/Communist.

He was a homosexual originally into art-painting, museums and the opera. He was also a big supporter of animal rights. So much so, he favored a mainly meatless diet because he didn't like humans thinking of animals as food.

He hated Christianity but admired Islam. He considered the Christian religion as something for "old women."

He also imposed most of the principles of socialism/Communism into his Third Reich.

Hitler was very much a wonderful, beautiful liberal/progressive.
