Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78469281 Why would the average person know how to cut coke? Hey IQ95, congrats but it is just a simple math problem...but also a test to see if you would know if it was just a simple math problem. It has nothing to do with crime or drugs. Thanks for playing... PoliceYourOwn |

How about tuning a 2001 Mexican Stratocaster copy. What are the tunings and string thickness on a regular "Slinky Pack" of strings? How much do they retail for? How can you tell if you've boosted a Les Paul copy with DiMarzio's? They're is a German 1942 Luger side by side with an American Eagle 50 caliber, which do you take? Why? You only have room for one pistol. What is the difference between American 9mm and European 9mm? You're just ignorant of knowledge that street wise people own. You could never pass a street wise test, and would die after you had to leave the building having no ability to guard you or anyone else's safety. What trick changes street lights quicker than pressing the "Walk" button? I could go on and on and on. Mensa people are very ignorant people I know I was one of them. Have you ever gone to a Mensa Get together? Try a meet and greet with those robots. I'd rather hood "up" and grab me a 40!! Michael S |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78469281 Why would the average person know how to cut coke? The cutting isn't the hard part, and neither is the math. The question is a problem though... A 2.5 LB KILO? Which is it? 2.5 pounds, or a kilo? (which would be about 2.204 pounds. Notice the vast difference there? Screw that up and someone is going to get shot.) Also, most of the street folk I've known have no clue about guns. Common Calibers? They know about 9s, 45s and AKs. A "clip" to them is what a pro would call a magazine. They don't know bullet loads in the main and if you talked about grains would just blink as if you'd said something stupid. In short, this isn't "street smart" knowledge. It's the kind of thing a clueless person would say, thinking it sounded street. Mensa members would have an easier time with these questions, unless you are accepting that the correct answers aren't the street ones? |

I bet your average bricklayer or short-order cook could come up with a similar industry-specific question list that would be difficult for anyone to know (unless you're a bricklayer or cook), including any mensa. |

Hhmmm, Id take the Luger anyday for accuracy, but even better an american made Ruger. Although only a .22, with hollow point bullets and a clip, its lightweight and very accurate. I had one for 30 yrs. I passed the Mensa test very quickly even though I dont do math at all. This was 40 some years ago so maybe they've improved, but they were big into mixed drinks and swinging so I left and didn't join. They were all very impressed with themselves and I remarked that the test was inadequate because it did'nt measure talent or creativity and tested only on what you know from books about other people, not about the inventive minds that may build the next better mousetrap. amdg Forgiveness means giving up every hope for a better past, In exchange for a better future. P.S. Ive always had an American Flag, now all of a sudden you gave me a Canada one. ?? Please whoever did this change it back.
