Oh well, at least it was of natural causes so it's death wasn't overly drawn out or as agonizing as it could have been, plus it looks like a couple wolves or other arctic predators got a meal as well so it's passing wasn't in vain. Neat how the icy cold preserved it's shape and skin though, you get a pretty clear snapshot of it's last moment's of life. At the end of the day, we all bleed the same color. Purple. What? That's why it froze near instantly because it died in place once coming over that rise and exposing itself to super chilled wind gusts. |
