Coworkers wife. No symptoms but hatd, golf ball sized lump on her arm for a week after the shot

A nurse I know was vaccinated, has no side effects, and posted this on Facebook:

PSA: For those who plan to get vaccinated in the next weeks or months - A) YAY! B) Don't plan on throwing away those masks so soon. We don't yet know if this vaccine decreases actual transmission of the disease. You still might be able to catch and spread the the virus. Hopefully we'll have more of an answer to this in the months to come. I don't think the public has been properly and thoroughly informed of this.

1) Rash formed on left hand (some on right too), left side of face under jawline from ear and under chin, and left leg. Itchy, painful red raised bumps. Later formed at my glucose monitor.
2). Face and lips began to burn but only lasted about an hour. Throat swolen a little but no significant airway constriction.
3) Malaise continued to build through the day until extreme exhaustion in late afternoon. Limbs felt heavy, weak and stumbly.
4). Shivers and chills set in to the point of hard shaking under covers with heating pad. Took 500 mg ibuprofen which helped
5) Muscle spasms in large muscles
6) injection site burning and sore with raised blister
7) No appetite. But with diabetes, ate. Which was a good thing because...
8. Blood sugar crash. At 2 am, it was 56 which I target 100-120. No insulin needed at meals which is odd for me. Eating a banana, apple, and a strawberry at 2am brought my glucose up only to 72 then it dropped again.
9) Both sides of my face at ears to across my chin under my jaw burn and itch.
10) Feels like I have the flu with body aches and chills.
11) Cannot sleep. Only 3 hours of sleep last night.

An elderly friend is scheduled to get the moderna vaccine tomorrow. She is very compromised already so am scared for her. Will let you know what happens.

No one I know personally but my friend has been collecting posts from people who were in the trials and people who have recently taken it. He personally knows a couple of them. I believe he's also in a couple of the private groups on facebook that were created for people who were in the trials and people who have taken it recently to discuss their experiences. Apparently Facebook is shutting them down since so many are talking about negative reactions and the info is leaking.

This is actually the symptoms of the mutated strain. Hopefully the next shot will cure it.
