Scardino, M.D., chairman of the Department of Surgery at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, with an annual salary of $2,207,147. He was followed by Michael Friedman, M.D., CEO of the City of Hope, with an annual salary of $1,434,148; and Edward J. Benz, Jr., M.D., President/CEO of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute/Jimmy Fund at $1,406,429.
