In his vid, states the US has even sold next year's crops to China. Quoting: sssssteve The reason I picked this post to comment on is because of the picture of Clint Eastwood playing the role of my favorite movie "The Outlaw Josie Wales". This story is based on my great great etc... Grandfather who didn't have as cool a name as Josie but his name was William "Bushwhacker Billy" Wilson. I grew up in this family of stubborn Missouri Mules and I guess it's what gives me peace and comfort during times like this. Let's get to the point, if you don't have a supply of food right now just go out and get about 2 months worth or at least 2 weeks worth. Run the bathtub full of water. You can drink straight from the back tank of a toilet. I really think this might be pulled off without firing a shot. But I do think it will take a year to pick up all these people who have right in front of our eyes attempted to steal an election. I'm not naive I know they've been doing it to some extent for 40 years but this time was nuts. Where I live we only had one Tabulator and probably no more than a 100 people vote there all day. I took out my cell and ran my sniffer and there was a hidden ssid and I took note of it in my mind and when I left I looked at the network symbol on the bottom right of the Windows 10 screen which I had to pull back a curtain to do which really pissed off the whole staff of 4. It had the little symbol showing it was on a wireless network. If it was not on the internet there would be a Globe there showing you that there is no internet. The registration tablets that took our license and took a picture of it and then you sign it with the little orange pen with the rubber end and you use the pen end to fill out the form. But my cousin in Missouri who is a registered Republican and so is her Daughter in Law were stopped by the poll worker and he traded their pens for sharpies and this guy was a cop in uniform while working as a voter registration helper. Helping people who are Republicans throw their vote in the trash. So if you think your state didn't have voter influence then you just don't know about it. You are either in denial or you don't want it proven that it was a dumpster fire. Now what do we do from here? We have to fix this election first before we go one step forward. We cannot and will not have another election until this is set right. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79813198 United States 01/14/2021 01:35 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | How to Sell Farmland and Agricultural Land to Chinese Investors Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79813198 [link to chinacashbuyers.com (secure)] To get started, you need to consider the factors driving this trend. Why are Chinese companies buying soy, wheat and corn, dairy, vineyards, pork producers and farmland? Here is a list a few of the factors: Looming food shortages- The Chinese government sees that rising middle class and it’s ever increasing desire for better lifestyle, more meat, more protein and knows it has to do something. - There simply isn’t enough food in China. - Only 8% of Chinese land is arable. And much of that is polluted from industry. So Chinese companies must look abroad. Cleaning up polluted soil is a long term, expensive process but food needs are much more pressing. “Pork is considered a national security issue in China” Speaks for itself. - Too many people, not enough food: China has more than four times as many people to feed. - Increasing pollution means that China’s available farmland is actually shrinking. Low agricultural productivity: China’s tiny independent farms rely on ancient technology and human labor. Meanwhile, salaries are rising rapidly. - Food scandals: Never ending food scandals due to small unregulated food producers. Just prior to the Beijing Olympics, China had the mother of all food scandals. - Infant formula companies had cheated so badly on ingredients and quality that some powdered milk had no dairy content. Zero. Zippo. No milk. Just chemicals like Melamine. And babies died. A lot of them. 300,000 babies got sick, 54,000 hospitalized and 12 died due to the toxic chemical concoction they consumed. And it isn’t much better today. Food scandals in China never stop whether it’s oil from the sewer (Google China’s gutter oil for videos describing this abomination. Anyway, these scandals are real. And it’s so bad that many Chinese are immigrating abroad to escape. Others are buying baby formula from abroad. Everyone is looking for a way to avoid these poorly regulated, never ending food scandals. Why do they continue? - Never ending demand for more and higher quality food: Rising Chinese wages, increased demand for meat, high quality food. And it’s only just beginning. At this point, Chinese still consume less than half the amount of meat annually of Americans. But the gap will surely close. |

They have a need; You have a solution. So buck up your confidence and go present it. Remember, you’ve done your homework. You know their situation. And you have the perfect target for them to acquire. And you know why. And that confidence shines through. Everyone, Chinese included, like to have their problems solved. So if you can solve a baby formula’s companies problems, let them know. |

User ID: 79255305 United States 01/14/2021 01:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | You don't really need food to survive just water and some skill in hunting and gathering. A good plan is to get a few rabbits maybe 2 female and 2 males. They breed like crazy and after a few months you will have an unlimited supply of food. Stock up on liquor (or get what you need to make your own) that is the most important item in a SHTF scenario. For true survivors food is down on the list you can always find food if your hungry enough even dandelions are very good item and those grow all over. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 63229486 I think this is something that is a bit of a misnomer. It may have been true in earlier times but not so much now. The thing is, everyone says "i'm fine, i'll just go hunt". Yeah, you and a million other wanna-bes that are all going to pour into the "wild". Most of them with skills picked up on youtube. In a world where humans have already wiped out like 90% of the wildlife. Perhaps in this case you are a skilled woodsman, but for most people this will end very badly. The rabbit thing I think is a good idea. I don't have any myself, but have a friend who does, and they do multiply very quickly. Not sure if I got any I would be able to (or my family would allow me to!) kill Cottontail for lunch though. Rabbit starvation is a thing though, its a very lean meat so as I understand it if you eat just that u do end up lacking fats. As a farmer and rancher ALL of my adult life let me say ... Good luck with this heading to the hills, and TRYING to stay alive BS ... most will starve in short order. Raising livestock is what I do, and it is hard, dirty, expensive, and sometimes heartbreaking. If you do not have experience raising and growing crops, and livestock, your learning curve is going to be horrible and expensive. Leading to the death of your stock and yourself. You do not just jump into this sort of experience ... it takes a lot of time and money to get started. AND, since the covid panic ... the supply of animals has tripled in price, and there is a severe shortage of stock for sale. A few questions for each of you that THINK you can just jump into raising and culling, butchering, your own stock. How long does it take a chicken to get to butcher weight? How about a beef? A pig? A rabbit? What temp does a baby chick need to stay alive until it is feathered out? How much water does a sheep need per day? What animal does not sweat? How many eggs does the average laying hen lay over a years time? Yep, start now and do your research!! I had retired but the covid, and all the culling by the BS gov. put me back in to it full time, again. Just the expense of fencing will break most people now days. Fencing you say??? Always, ALWAYS, always have your security up before buying any animals!! Fencing keeps them and you safe! The most important question is, After all the expense of raising these animals can you honestly, truthfully, be able to shot and butcher them??? Do you know how to take care of all of that meat without losing most of it? I truly wish more people would have done this 15 to 20 years ago ... and we would not be where we are now. Thank you for speaking truth. Along those lines, are you comfortable with the makeup of your neighbors that they would not try to steal from you? And, if not , how would you protect your family or livestock? It takes a group of people to survive. My friend buys half a side of beef from a local rancher. They are being told it will cost them much more this year because the rancher says the local butchering co. will nor take them as a customer (although they have had a long term relationship), so they will have to transport the cattle from Ohio to Indiana for processing. Took us 3 months to get our beef quarter from the butcher this year (normally took 3 weeks!) and it was ONLY a quarter (prev. we bought a half). People are flocking to the butchers like never before. Took us 3 weeks for the hogs, but they came from family friend's farm and we shared the meat, they got them in/out of the butcher pretty quick. When it gets bad enough we'll raise the small livestock: chickens, rabbits, geese, duck, etc. nothing that needs a vet$ (or farrier$) and that is easy to butcher and eat that day. If it gets as bad as some say, my hubby said we'll start our bird/bunny farm in the Spring. |

I think in the immediate aftermath at least, it would almost be better to just have rabbits because they don't make much, if any, noise. I bought "quiet" chickens, but anyone in the area is going to hear a rooster. And then I bought some Polish chickens from the flea market (bad idea) to expand the flock a bit, but it didn't occur to me that the vendor would be dishonest. They were too old to lay, they are noisy as hell, and don't forage and now I'm stuck with them. But in the two years I've had chickens they've definitely been worth it. The best stories are told by the survivors. |
