Report Copyright Violation | Retired Air Force Lieutenant Colonel arrested Sunday in Texas - entered the U.S. Capitol Jan 6th Larry Rendall Brock Jr., 53, faces one count of entering or remaining in a restricted building without lawful authority and one count of violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds, the Justice Department announced. He was arrested Sunday in Texas, but it was unclear where he was being held. Brock, a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, confirmed to The New Yorker magazine that he was involved in Wednesday’s breach of the Capitol. In photos of the mob, Brock can be seen wearing a combat helmet and body armor. He was holding zip-tie handcuffs that are used by law enforcement. He told The New Yorker that he had been wearing tactical gear to avoid getting “stabbed or hurt.” He said he found the zip-tie handcuffs on the ground and regretted picking them up.
