Reaching up to the Sky ~ Waterfall acrylic pour ~ Fluid art painting ~ Pouring with Split cup

This time I wanted to do a wing / waterfall acrylic pour with a split cup with two chambers. And because paint didn't pour out of the cup as I was expecting, I layered another cup and did just a straight on lifted canvas. I wasn't sure about the composition of this fluid art painting at first, but when I looked at it from all sides, I saw two hands reaching up to the sky.

Enjoying this thread, as I do pours also. I enjoy various types of art and different mediums as well

Thanks so much for posting this thread as I enjoy seeing different techniques, color combinations used, and creative use of tools or props to achieve certain results.

I enjoy adding iridescence in my pours or textures. I have been experimenting with different 'props' and often looking for various ways to achieve it.

I am also free to use my painting spatulas or tools to increase specific patterns

Thanks Fiona! Have a great weekend!afro

FLOETROL and GLUE pouring medium ~ Reverse flower dip ~ Acrylic pouring ~ Fluid art painting

Hello from Slovenia again!

In this video I will do reverse flower dip with Floetrol (70%) and Glue (30%) as my pouring medium. I still want to find mixture of US products, that will react similar as my pouring medium with EU products.
The final fluid art painting is different than usual, but I find it really beautiful anyway.
I hope that this video will help you create some acrylic pouring flowers too!

My base coat is mixture of Amsterdam neutral grey and Artist's Loft iridescent medium. Colours for the flower are:
- Amsterdam permanent blue violet
- Pebeo iridescent green blue
- Arties colours prussian blue
- Vallejo cobalt violet light
- Pearl white

My pearl white mixture:
1 part ModPodge pearl
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium

You can check my other fluid art tutorials where I used US products:

Leaky COLANDER acrylic pour ~ Kaleidoscopic flower ~ Fluid art painting ~ Abstract flower

Hello from Slovenia again!

Few days ago I did a ring pour on reverse colander and I wasn't completely happy with the result.
So in this video I did a Leaky colander acrylic pour, but I poured paint on the bottom of the colander in puddles. When I lifted up the colander, I was very happy with the pattern, so I just just added some lines with a scewer, spun it out and beautiful kaleidoscopic flower is shone on my canvas.

Beause I knew, that colours will mix a lot in this acrylic pouring technique, I choose kind of primary colours ( Cadmium yellow, Permanent red violet and cerulean blue) and my pearl white mixture for some lacing effects.

My pearl white mixture:
1 part Vallejo pearl medium
1 part titanium white
2 parts pouring medium
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.
