melt a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth and keep it there for 5 - 10 minutes and then spit it into your trash bag (not down your sink). I started doing this twice a day when I had bad teeth problems but it improves the mucosal tissue health of your mouth. Now I do it about 10 times each week. It's just such an easy thing to do.

Doing this has relieved so much of what has ailed me over two years... huge bonus.... my teeth are all now very white, even where I had a couple bad stains, though that didn't happen until the last year.

This is an ancient technique and zero doctors will ever tell you about it. It's been the most effective single thing I've ever done for my health. Cheap and simple.

It's most likely "SJOGREN'S SYNDROME". Look it up. I have it. It is very painful and it's an autoimmune disorder. You should see a doctor. They do a mouth biopsy to determine if you have it. There are meds. for it, but I haven't used them yet. I should though, because the disorder can also affect your muscles, joints, and eyes. One thing, do NOT use the Biotene crap. It actually makes it worse for this syndrome. You actually need artificial saliva, not weak mouth spray. This really helps me:

Its Oral7 Dry Mouth Moisturizing Mouth Gel With Enzymes. But you should really see a doctor. Write down ALL of your symptoms and give it to them. Also, I have horrible nightmares too...night terrors. Using humidifiers and anything that can moisten the air can help, as in drinking lots of water. But ultimately, sometimes it's too much and you need meds.

Humidifier - not a cheap one from Walmart - a good one, rated for the square-footage of the bedroom. Ours have a sensor that reads displays the current humidity level.

We moved into a new home with radiant heating (torture) in March. I now run a humidifier farm inside of my home in the winter. They are a pain to fill every day, but she's doing much better so it's totally worth it. I've got one in every bedroom, and 3 giants running in the open floorplan area of the first floor. My 4 year-old kept waking up with cracked lips and a scratchy throat, crying for water. (She HATES plain water.) Next, came the torrential nose bleeds. I bought the kid some "water smoke machines," crisis averted. Interestingly, the dry air didn't impact myself, my husband, or our other daughter in the same way. I'd wake up with a scratchy throat on occasion, but nothing like hers. I hope you find the solution, OP!

Yea me too (wisconsin, Cold out) so I got a Giant Humidifier and now I keep the place at 40% humidity!

grab one! (not those stupid ultrasonic ones that leave fine whit dust all over the house!)

grab some spare water filter things for it while you are there!

3700 square foot humidifier with a 2-1/2 gallon removable tank! I eat a tank a day - its perfect, no more dried out me!

I used to get that - Get a good quality humidifier.
Put it on 2 hrs before bed on full / heat or no heat, dont matter.
Leave the bedroom door ajar a little to let some air into room...
I guarantee you, you will sleep like a baby, with sod all dry, sore throat / nose..

You can leave it on all night, or set timers on some of them to go off...

Mines has gone 100% - money well spent.

Also, add to spots of olbas oil under each nostril ( not inside) - this to will aid in breathing better...
