New experience. I am not sick. Takes a couple of minutes to get moisture back in mouth. Occurs off and on through out the day, but definitely worst in early am. Sipping water helps. Lemon drop or sour candy helps, There are several artificial saliva products on the market (biotene) you can buy and use as directed, to moisten you mouth with; mouth rinse at night before bed and as needed. There is a spray too, fast to use at work if needed. I like the gel product for nighttime too, as it seems to keep tissues in the mouth moist longer, so you will wake up less often. My eyes are dry too. There are a number of moisturizing eye drops. None of these products need a Prescription. If your problem continues or worsens,Develop a lump on one or both sides of your face, please see your Dr or Medical Provider for a check up . There are also some very good online video Doctors that you can consult from home. Good Luck! |

First thing was to close the heater vent in the room and leave the door open so warmer air could still get in. Second, drink a glass of water before bed and more when you wake to pee, if needed. Third, coat inside of nose and mouth with coconut oil about a 1/4 tsp. should be more than enough.swish with remaining coconut oil and swallow. Good luck. |

[link to somnifix.com (secure)] i always used to wake up with dry mouth which is so fucking annoying and then i caught the episode on the tank so i ordered some and they are not really cheap but i found that the adhesive that they use is of high quality and i use each one three times so it drastically reduces the cost factor and with using both of these products have greatly improved the quality of sleep that i get now. hope this helps because it sure has for me. If so, you may be getting a dry throat, etc by breathing too long though your mouth whilst asleep. The air in your bedroom may be too dry because of heating. Try nasal sprays to clear the nasal congestion. It's possible you have a deviated septum. If sprays don't work, get your doctor to check your nose. Also, put a humidifier in your bedroom. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 29591394 United States 01/10/2021 08:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't mean a "little dry" , I mean I wake up and there isn't a single drop of moisture anywhere, and it hurts . I drink something and immediately my tongue will start bleeding as soon as the moisture hits . My lips are cracking . And I'm drinking LOTS of water every night , I've tried different ph balanced waters and I STILL get it ... its so bad I wake up hourly , and sometimes MINUTES will pass when I wake upbecause if it . Quoting: Righteous1AtHeart As soon as I wake up, immediate DREAD sets in because my mouth and throat feels like they've been replaced with a very course sand paper. I wake , let's say 4:10 A.M , take a huge drink of what ever water I chose that day, and go back to sleep i will wake up at like 4:50 with the same sensation. Its driving me mad ! . I wake up 7+ times a sleep night because of it . When im not sleeping im working . Very physical job, I walk about an average of 14-20 miles a day! I load bread to be shipped by a major bakery in southern U.S ... this dry mouth is killing me ... I mean I had cotton mouth before but NEVER anything like this . My inside of my mouth will literally start bleeding as soon as water hits . My lips are cracked in the morning ... I AM hydrated all the time , I dont know what to do?!?!?! Could this be a problem with my body maybe not absorbing H20? I mean I piss alot because of how much water I drink. Pardon my grammar please , I did not proof read this post . I just am looking for some recommendations that might help .... my mouth gets so dry .. sometimes even when I smile my lips will crack and start to bleed . My lips haven't been a huge issue but I mean, my inside mouth shouldn't be bleeding as soon as hydration touches it ... I haven't seen a Dr, in a very long time . reflux from your stomach.... acid burns |
