Thank you. There is one about 40 miles away. Is loud "rock type" music normal for this brand of church?

I saw a drive thru church way back before this covid thingy and they offered coffee and a Prayer upon request. I thought that was so cool. But, we didn't have time to do it.

Most any nondenominational church is going to be conservative politically. They are only there because all the mainline Protestant churches went leftist a long time ago. Southern Baptist are still mostly conservative, too. In a year or so, the United Methodist Church is going to go through a split, and the 5% conservative clergy will preach to the 75% conservative membership, so if you go that way, find the one in town with a full parking lot on Sunday. The rest will be performing gay marriages to empty sanctuaries, and not much else.

Church is verboten. By the decree of Donald J Trump and the Cabal you will do no such thing.

It is now, and that's how most nondenominational churches do church. I find it obnoxious and irreverent, but to each his own.

Don't go to a calvary church op. The have rock bands and boom cameras and 110" commercial grade tvs .

They are not churches. I went to one and the pastor was wearing jeans and was telling people they weren't real if they weren't christian instead of being welcoming ...

Well, that is the problem. I realize that no church is going to be just like I want, but I'd like to find one that isn't glaringly different. For ex. I love rock n roll and loud music, but not at church. I'd like to find a church that uses hymnals similar to what was used in the 50s and 60s. I've been to churches that had to project their songs on the wall because they were so new. and no hymnals. I'd like to find a church that is slightly like the churches I went to as a child.
But. above all. I'd like to find a group of like minded, conservative people, which is going to be necessary in the coming years.

That's why I suggested Southern Baptist or the right kind of United Methodist earlier. They both will typically have a rock concert contemporary service, but most will also have a traditional service. I think pretty much everybody is broadcasting hymns on the walls now because Covid, but they are hymns, and when this is over, they will go back to hymn books.

Personally, we got lucky in our move a few months ago and found one of the few UMC churches that have a Wesleyan orthodox pastor, but those are very few and far between. Where we lived previously, the closest one like that was 30 miles away.

Get on your knees and say a prayer out loud and ask to find the right church for you and your family.

Be careful. I would try to read the Bible first (with the help of the Holy Spirit). Otherwise, you won't know when you are being lied too. When Jesus was asked to describe the end times the very first thing He said was, "Do not be deceived". The truth is very hard to find. And there are many different Jesus' out there. I pray you find the real one. Here’s a hint: He has no need for material wealth and He does everything with Love in His heart. If you stumble into a church preaching wealth and anything other then love, run.

I don't want to attend church which is involved in satanic politics. Both Trump and Biden support rainbow stickers. Politics is a shitshow for weak people.

My father was a Baptist Deacon, but he became Baptist after I left home.

Because trin has nothing to do with Christ.

If you're looking for like minded conservative Christians and a more traditional service, you won't do much better. We loved our Baptist Church where we lived before, but the one here is like going to a Gaither Music Hour in 1985, so we looked harder and found the UMC church I mentioned above.

Simple Points to finding a real church that worships Jesus Christ:

1) They worship on Saturday.
If they think Sunday is the sabbath don't go to it.

2) They don't believe in shopping, watching football, washing your car, going to the movies, etc on the Sabbath

3) They don't fundraise. Every church member is required to tithe (10%) of their income to the church.

4) The Pastor is a Man (and not some Fairy limp wrist )

5) They preach against the LGBTQ activities as required by the law of Moses and accordingly the Epistles of Paul

6) The women do not rule the church. The Male Pastor does

7) They do not Hob Nob with anyone of the Catholic Church or with those that do hob nob with Catholic Priests/Cardinals/Bishops/Popes.

8) They condemn Racism regardless of color. They tell you to avoid those that engage in racism.

9) They do not allow any unrepentant Obama , Biden , Clinton or Trump voter/ supporter to be in the membership of the Church. The pastor drives out people such as this with his preaching.

10) They do not throw out the OT or the Laws of Moses as Jesus Christ never threw out the OT laws

11) They don't believe in a pretribulation rapture


If a church meets these, it might not be a perfect church, but it is not likely to be a synagogue or Temple of Satan.

Those Calvary churches are God pimps with rock bands
