Yup. Ron Paul was intelligent and had actual ideas about running a country, not just pillaging it to benefit his own family while lying to his adoring tellmevision fan base.

Ron Paul could not only spell 'libertarian' and 'isolationist', he understood what they meant. Big difference, Huge.

As I recall he still had between 10-20% of the RNC delegates in 2012 and he told everybody not to make waves instead of making a stand and provisioning them for any useful effect.

agreed. he was the last chance but gave up too easily, probably because of knowing what he was up against. and then with rand, makes me doubt ron was authentic, but possible that they have huge and fundamental disagreements as father-son. bottom line, trust no one.
