Maybe, but Pence repeatedly said he did not believe he had that power under the law. Each individual state had to contest the result, which Arizona did and he did enter that in and send it back.

If this republic is to survive it must survive under it's own framework.

Pence from what I can tell is a straight shooter and follows his conscious. I believe he did what he did because he was courageous and trying to act with the highest degree of ethical conduct.
