There is no way to know whether these patients were infected with the new variant - the Amazonas region was not hit as hard during the study period, and patients there weren't tested for the variant - but the findings paint grim picture of what can happen if transmission accelerates and cases overwhelm hospitals... ...More than 31 percent of hospitalized patients under 60 in those regions died. 'These regional differences in mortality reflect differences in access to better health care that already existed before the pandemic,' said Fernando Bozza, study coordinator and researcher at the National Institute of Infectious Disease. Less to do with any new strain. More to do with overtaxed hospitals. Paints a grim portrait of what can happen. Thread: When the air runs out... *Glitches May Occur. Consume(D) At Own Risk |

What the guy said in chan in january 31 has had a few hits, 1. the delay in declaration of pandemic 2.italy 3. the crash in March and now it seems a hit on 4. brazil and a new variant this reminds me of the canadian email and the paper being distributed in france stating a new variant that will necessitate a new harsher lockdown. Now the first virus was just a weak virus, John Ioannidis and others made an excellent analysis on the virulence of that virus. Whether this new variant is also weak, or its really a harsher, higher fatality virus remains to be seen. With the addition of the mrna pathogen, things will get confusing. What is nearly certain is that we are in for a repeat of 2020, a much harsher repeat, in terms of lockdown. They are just gonna wring the economies neck, so that people eventually will cry out for someone to save them. Then they will come as saviors with the new system. Indeed, it is slowly happening now. The US will continue to devolve as planned, as they want a weaker US, remember 2030 wef. The cabal and all souls will have their day in the scales of justice. Time to get a farm. |

WTF? [link to www.dailymail.co.uk (secure)] Serious doom ahead I also think that the serious doom comes soon. I hate to do a post on this forum about it. And it IS spooky how that guy's note seems to predict the Brazilian variant. And also how the leaked Canadian email spoke of a deadly mutation. But at the same time, I don't think we can use the Brazilians as a text book case litmus test, or viral metric of how that same variant would behave here. DR said something about how the Swedes were a different kind of people, they don't go out much, they don't talk to one another. The Brazilians are also a very different type of people. Do you ever remember being at the beach and smelling the suntan lotion coming off the people there? If I can smell your suntan lotion, I can inhale your aerosolized respiratory droplets. Take a look at this video. These people are packed onto this beach like sardines. They don't give a shit. Neither does their alleged president. If they tried this in some other jurisdictions, the authorities would round them up and take them off to the detention centers. Coming soon. Do you want a mask? How devastating could Brazil's 'super-covid' be? Study finds coronavirus overwhelmed the country, killing nearly 40% of hospitalized patients as fears grow its variant could ALREADY be in America Quoting: Zalinsky Particularly distressing, the death rate among hospitalized coronavirus patients who were younger than 60 was 15 percent across the country. I'm going to keep beating this drum until someone pays attention. Incidentally, that 15% percent matches the above prediction perfectly. [link to www.dailymail.co.uk (secure)] Did you read? That study was of the period between February and August of last year... New strain was discovered in December and believed to have originated in July... So that means the percentages are from infections of original strain and likely due to Brazilian health care system instead of any mutation... New mutation BS is being hyped to promote vaccine... Those percentages have no bearing on what the new strain is like, good or bad... Tying those numbers to the new strain can only be seen as propaganda to promote an agenda. Billy82269 |

TEST: 2013/The identification of another novel human coronavirus, Middle East Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus (MERS-CoV) with a high case fatality rate in the Arabian peninsula, which most likely is a recently emerged zoonotic virus from a bat reservoir, justifies increased surveillance for coronaviruses in bats. Expanding on our previous work, we analyzed intestinal samples from 97 bats from Brazil and 75 bats from Mexico. A novel alphacoronavirus was detected in Molossus rufus and Molossus molossus specimens from Sao Paulo state in Southeast Brazil, and a novel betacoronavirus (presumably group C) was detected in a specimen from a Pteronotus davyi bat from the state of Jalisco in Midwestern Mexico. Both of these viruses were detected in bats with known or potential contact with humans. Continued surveillance of New World bats for novel CoVs and further research efforts on the factors associated with CoV host switching events from bats to other species are warranted./ |

By late March as we started to see good fatality data, which indicated it was almost harmless to under 70s, I moved to the nothingburger camp. Strongly against lockdowns and masks, because the threat is small and they don't seem to work very well. I stayed there all summer but then started to see more indications of long-term damage to bodies of younger people. That has made me less nothingburgery. I don't think this particular "virus" is any more deadly.. just that it's more infectious. This overwhelms the hospital system and they're unable to provide sufficient support to critically ill patient that might otherwise survive... thus the high death rate. If enough people practiced alternative prevention (diet containing natural anti-virals, balanced diets with quality protein, vitamin C and generally support their immune system.. you can avoid getting very sick if infected). Too many eat junk food and are unhealthy these days. |

Yes, we are freaked. It was a warning sh9t back in February that fell on mostly deaf ears. Not me, the Brazilians are too close to exotic animals in the Amazon as they encroach upon their habitat. The vampire bats there have even began to change feeding habits to feed off humans. Fact. It was a matter of time. |

A lot of the long term damage (long haulers) is due to poor diets (vegans who lack proper protein to block viral replication for example), junk foods and fats. They may appear healthy on the surface, but are unhealthy. Vitamin C is important, good fats to prevent clotting, whole foods that contain minerals such as copper that kill viruses.. etc |

I know! different weather and atmospheric situations and all that but!. I think they are new strains being released to keep it going. The vaccinations are just going to make it worse.
