Coup

I just now skimmed through a poorly-written AP piece titled "Analysis: With call, Trump shows no limit to his power grab".

A few weeks ago, "The Week" magazine's cover promised that the issue contained a riveting account of the thwarting of the attempted coup. The coup that Trump has been attempting, not the theft that Bidet has been pretending to have deftly pulled off. I didn't touch that issue of The Week, although a few years ago I thought The Week was a semi-palatable weekly newsmagazine. There was a time when I relied on TIME magazine for the bulk of my newsreading. I read Newsweek, too, but didn't think it was in the same league as TIME. But that was a few decades ago. Paper Newsweek is no more, and I doubt TIME has much time left. Good riddance.

But anyway, I'm not above questioning my own beliefs. So I spend a few seconds here and there asking myself if there's any chance I've got this totally ass-backwards, and they're dead on when they report what that Bad Orange Man is trying to do. A few seconds is all it takes. It isn't hard to identify which group embraces Total Unrestricted Weaseldickness. And uses the noble jackass as its symbol.

So my question: how could whoever concocted all this have achieved such across-the-board MSM solidarity??? Ironically, it seems to me that most radio hosts (and I don't mean the EIB Network) lean in my direction, with varying levels of passion. They're not unbiased journalists reporting the facts, though. They're commentators, no pretense of being journalists. Too bad Air America croaked. They surely would be celebrating the bogus ascendancy of the President-elect-pro-tem.
