New monolith in Prestonsburg, Ky.
Long time lurker here.

I live in Prestonsburg, Ky. At work today everyone is talking about a strange new metal post that just popped up.
I thought it strange, but gave it no other thought.
On my way home I drove by, and sure enough.
It is a monolith, similar to the one I have read about here.
I didn’t take any measurements, but it is between 9 and 10 feet tall.
Made out of some kind of metal, at least that’s what it looks and feels like.
Seems solid. Three sides. It’s not a solid color. Shiny in spits and dull brownish, almost greenish in others.
Appears solid. I didn’t see any seems or joints.

I took a pic. But am on my phone right now. As soon as I get home I will post it.

It looks and feels like metal.

I am a foreman for a concrete construction company.
I have worked around concrete and steel for almost 20 years.

I don't think it's anything supernatural, nor do I think it's aliens.
I do, hiwever, think that whoever did it is an ace with metals.

It appears to be of a solid piece. No joints or seems.
It is perfectly plumb. Or as plumb as I could gather using a 4 foot level.
It seemed to be sitting directly on the ground.
I didn't see any loose dirt, or any indication that someone had placed a concrete pad underneath.

The ground it is sitting on is wet, as we had rain for most of the weekend.

Not sure what it is supported by. That is the main mystery fir me.
If it is solid. It probably weighs around 4 to 5 hundred pounds.

I'll post more later. As I am still not home.

Dollars to donuts it ain't solid, and would weigh a few tons if so!

The one out west appeared something like 1/8 thick metal. Probably same one moved.

The first couple were quite well done, with beautiful sheen, nice smooth edges etc.

everything since has been thrown together in someone's backyard shed. Horribly spot welded or riveted together.
