Re: Julian Assange freed (bail pending)
I am pretty sure he will get bail on Wednesday with some big restrictions. Like living at one address only and surrendering to a police station everyday. Maybe even an electronic tag.

The Belmarsh Hilton isn't much better than a US jail, so the judges own argument to not extradite him would apply to jail in the UK being cruel too. He hasn't been found guilty of anything in this case.

There's other issues many are not considering, during the stay in the Embassy Im sure all his personal documentation has expired, including Visa. He may be deported by the UK upon his release. His country of origin is Australia and I believe they have Extradition agreements with the USA.

I LOVE TRUMP and I am a BIG FAN...but
He could have freed Assange a long time ago. He would have been a hero.
He shit on that opportunity. Im glad Britain refused to extradite him. It took it out of Trumps hands. Why let Assange linger in prison for 4 more years when you could have given him those years with his family? Im disappointed in Trump in that respect.
Assange I pray you return to good health and you enjoy a long a prosperous life with your wife and children. You are a Noble man who stood up for truth. GOD BLESS YOU!

It is all possible that the safest place for Assange and his family during this season was not out where they could reach him. Whatever the reason, things could heat up drastically for the DNC and HRC now that he is free.

I think the Judge gave the US two weeks to appeal her decision.

Another thing I overlooked is Stella Morris. He has two kids by her, so if they quickly married she could get him UK citizenship. That is if she is even a UK citizen, she was born in South Africa.

Re: Julian Assange freed (bail pending)
Jubilant scenes have greeted Judge Vanessa Baraitser’s decision not to extradite WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange to the US to face espionage charges at London's Old Bailey courthouse.
Assange, 49, is charged with 18 counts of conspiring to hack US government computers and the publication of confidential military records, including a video of a 2007 Apache helicopter attack in Baghdad in which a dozen people, including two Reuters journalists, were killed.

In her ruling Baraitser said that freedom of speech rights do not provide “unfettered discretion by Mr Assange to decide what he’s going to publish”.

However, in a decision which shocked many, including Assange’s own supporters and legal team, Baraitser found that extradition would be oppressive given Assange's mental health.

Trump could pardon him anytime he wants but he doesn't.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78442634

Trump has to wait until the current election shitshow is finally decided.

If he pardons him beforehand, he is sure to piss off members of congress or judges
when their support may be necessary.

If he gets a second term, he has plenty of time.

If he does not get a second term, he can pardon him on the way out.

Strategy.

It means in all likelihood, he will be out on Wednesday as a free man.

The judge dropped the extradition so there is no reason to keep him in jail. Keeping him there under appeal by the US government will only be seen as a political act. He should be given bail for that duration.

Technically that’s true in the sense he’d walk free but he’d be murdered within a week of freedom.
The charges Assange faced were the exact same ones Obama put on him but then suddenly dropped claiming they were unconstitutional. Govt never brings charges unless they know they can win. Strange the Obama Admin never bring this argument up against Trump admin.
Most likely Assange threatened kill switch on Obama crew so they dropped it. Hillary wanted to literally drone strike him.
