There's other issues many are not considering, during the stay in the Embassy Im sure all his personal documentation has expired, including Visa. He may be deported by the UK upon his release. His country of origin is Australia and I believe they have Extradition agreements with the USA.

It is all possible that the safest place for Assange and his family during this season was not out where they could reach him. Whatever the reason, things could heat up drastically for the DNC and HRC now that he is free.

If the US withdraw their appeal then he may be deported. Otherwise he will be subject to bail until these proceedings have concluded. Which could be years and years.

I think the Judge gave the US two weeks to appeal her decision.

Another thing I overlooked is Stella Morris. He has two kids by her, so if they quickly married she could get him UK citizenship. That is if she is even a UK citizen, she was born in South Africa.

It means in all likelihood, he will be out on Wednesday as a free man.

The judge dropped the extradition so there is no reason to keep him in jail. Keeping him there under appeal by the US government will only be seen as a political act. He should be given bail for that duration.
