In other words, spontaneous glass breakage is caused by the same thing that causes all problems, CHINA.

Two reasons:

1) Extreme temperature change (cold glass into very hot oven)

2) Moisture in the glass tempering process; this causes the crystalline formation (of the pre-glass silicon) to be unstable, and tend towards breaking when heat is applied
