Did you have Covid during that period?
If not then why waste it- you only need it once you have the virus?

The problem your nurse friend encountered was likely the result of the following...

1. there are literally dozens of supplement brands offering Quercetin, some way less absorbable than others, some fake.

2. There are 15 forms of supplementary Zinc, each bound to a different molecule, and WIDELY varying in bio-availabilty. In addition, Copper antagonizes Zinc absorption and most people have ridiculously high copper levels, requiring higher doses of Zinc during acute illness.

Source naturals offers a tiny amount of copper in their Zinc product to replenish it. It is negligible in this case.

Vitamin C is a chelator and may reduce Zinc levels in blood, which means if you are taking over a gram a day of Vitamin C you may need to increase Zinc intake during Anti-Viral treatment.

The answer to your question (bolded above) is that Ivermectin is a proven prophylactic (preventative).

Ivermectin appears to recognize the virus as a parasite and destroys its protective coating rendering it vulnerable to the immune system.

Had a “tele-visit” with a doctor, told him I wanted to use it prophylactically, and then was prescribed and shipped HCQ.

Whole thing cost me about 200 bucks with express shipping on the prescription.

I now have enough to last me awhile.

The doctor was great, we had a good chat.

I did ask him what he would have prescribed me if I had said I thought I had it.

Did you ever hear of prophylaxis? ie. Ivermectin can be taken to prevent getting covid19.

The dose for prophylaxis was a 200mg pill once a day for a week then once a week until this whole thing is over.

HCQ was an option before, but I think Ivermectin trumps it in all instances, even pre-exposure prophylaxis. Seriously, Ivermectin is what HCQ was promised to be.

Why should a bunch of bumpkins and morons at the state capitol be able to prevent the whole state from making their own personal choice? Gheeze, the fucking nerve of them to tell other adults what they can or can't have.

Only about 3 weeks, but it's been pretty amazing for the arthritis. Started on it because my c-reactive-protein went through the roof and I'm old enough this could cause heart problems in a hurry.

Of course, I was delighted when I got the scrip and thought I'd keep getting it whether it did the trick with the arthritis or not (getting it and taking it every day are different things).

My doc is not a big fan of ivermectin for covid, but everyone has their prejudices.

ETA - Taking the standard arthritis dose of 200 mg per day.

my friend did this in VT and got the med and was better in a few days. She did telemed with AFLD as soon as she got the positive Covid test as a long term care nurse....
