"Standing" is a technicality only lawyers understand. Also, you can have a good claim, but based it on the wrong legal theory and lose. Those 2 reasons seem to be the main reasons. Also, lower courts generally do not do something like set aside an election of this magnitude. And finally, the PA Republicans have openly called the PA Sup. Ct. political bias into question. The things set forth in this article, if indeed true, would be enough in my opinion to void the election results in PA at a minimum. They could be enough to swing the final electorial votes for PA to Trump. |
