The key to understanding the Q movement was apparently posted by the Gandalf of the Q movement (Lance Roseman From BC).

The Q movement appears to be about shifting to another timeline where things are the way Q believers want. That would explain why they don't care about truth. The truth in this timeline wouldn't matter according to this belief system. It's all about the truth in the timeline they believe they're headed to.
