Quoting: Anonymous Coward 228369That reminds me of a line in a song "You avoid anything that will bring you down, like realtives or areal job. You're so light, I bet you think you don't have a shadow..." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 368888 United States 07/26/2009 06:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | are becoming a burden again. You are costing me money again, and you are not bringing any in. I am tired of being kicked around and walking on eggshells. When I leave him, I have no where to go and no money to take care of my son and myself. I need a job so and can take control of my life, and maybe the next time instead of him makeing me leave, he will be the one who has to leave. Help I want the power to take care of myself and my son. Quoting: kathy_amick. 327622Been there. I was a stay at home wife. Our marriage started having problems. I put my son (3yrs old) in day care and my oldest (5 yr old) in school. Two years down the road, once my baby was in school, I had the financial means to leave. I could not afford to be on my own and pay day care year round for my youngest. I had to wait until he was in school. Good luck. Make sure you know what you are doing. I still second guess myself if I did the right thing. I was not able to give my boys everything they would have had if I had stayed married. But I tried. I bought a house, gave them their own rooms, and kept them in the same town so they didn't have to change day care or schools. It is very hard raising kids on your own. Don't leave your husband unless you are VERY sure. Make that marriage work if at all possible. Maybe get a job and then the fights about money will go away. You will have more power since you will have your own paycheck. Good luck. |
