The text literally says that the Day will come upon -all- who dwell on the Earth. Firstly that is referring to -The Day- of Christ's return, which clearly happens -after- the seals, trumpets, bowls etc.

Also, verse 36 is referring to the cares of the world. Praying to have the strength to overcome the drunkenness, carousing, cares of the world. Jesus would not be saying to take heed unless being certain that the hearts of believers -will- be at risk of being weighed down by these things unless praying for strength to overcome them.

There is a "rapture" but it is not to escape tribulation.


Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it. I tell you, in that night there will be two in one bed. One will be taken and the other left. There's no such church. That's the point of religion, to keep peoples enslaved in a fear based belief system.

Without hell there's no point into religions.
