Has any of you tried searching for the second amendment lately? You cannot find the complete thing anymore. Anywhere. The closest I could find was a statue in Texas that read:

A well regulated militia, being necessary to a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government. -George Washington

This says the same thing essentially but if somebody has the actual full text, if they would share I'd appreciate it.

Also, THAT is why we have the second amendment, to keep things like what is happening now from happening in the first place. Is it pleasant? No. Is it necessary? Maybe.
