You get confused because he is not the best speaker, and he fumbles his words a bit but his intent is plain.

He is saying most respiratory diseases make you cough. With this one in the EARLY STAGES you don't notice or think you are spreading it because you are not coughing. With this one, it is laughing, singing, talking that will shed the virus if you have a bunch in your respiratory tract but have no symptoms like coughing.

Human nature hasn't changed much or at all through the centuries.

A sense of what today are labeled as leftwing/leftist/liberal/progressive people likely had similar traits hundreds of years ago. Some of the nuances, however, may have been different from place to place, decade to decade.

But a person who is dishonest, irrational, illogical, impractical, unethical and non-compassionate - all traits of many (most?) people of the leftwing - must have been apparent to observers living in ancient societies.

Look, I hate Bill Gates. I cannot stand him in any way, shape, or form (but especially his human form).

But all he was saying here is that if you get the ‘rona, you may not know it for up to two weeks. During which time you are not showing symptoms but are transmitting the virus through “singing, laughing and talking.” Of course, this is not always true for everyone who gets the disease. Nevertheless, it makes it tougher to control.

That was all he meant with that remark. If you want to hate him there are plenty of other far more evil things he has said.
