Cabbage rolls. Not ho-made...a new brand, we shall see.

I have a friend who goes to this fancy meat market in Jax that sells Waygu. He says it's good, but I'm not sure I would pay that much even if I had it.

I love pierogies! Especially with fried onions!

We literally had leftover salad and a tombstone cheese pizza tonite. It has been some kind of crazy here, involving mad work schedules, ambulance rides and a dog completely trashing my kitchen..broken dishes (not the coffee pot thank goodness), plants and dirt everywhere, a bag of fertilizer and everyone's shoes because it is winter and they are all by the back door. It was literal insanity. Everyone is fine and the mess is mostly cleared up. I even bought some new dishes tonite. But didn't feel much like cooking.

Still not much aroma from heating from frozen yet though...the one drawback with store bought items (notice there aren't any wonky additives in these) over ho-made.

Anyone hear from Louis in the last 2 weeks? Nada email from him. Hoping he is chipper and well on the way to recovery from pretty much...everything!

I texted him last night. He is alright. I wouldn't say getting better though, still in pain.

I put a pre marinated pork loin and Lima beans in the crock pot before we left this afternoon. It says the flavor was Tuscan herb. The meat turned out super tender and the seasoning made the beans very tasty! I just wanted baked potatoes and we had leftover bacon and rolls.

At least I got a pic of my plate before it went on the bed. I was pulling up my little desk and I think Butters stepped on the desk and the plate went sliding off. Mr says it was bound to happen.

Someone had a bad anaphylactic reaction and was blue and unresponsive when I found them. Epi pens do work.

But yanno, I almost didn't check on them because I stopped to grab some stuff for work and saw the kitchen and just didn't want to deal.

I ended up not working the rest of the day though.

And everyone is alright. That's the important thing. Dishes break. Dirt can be cleaned up.

I'm more upset that one of my daughter's teacher friends posted on a facebook community page of all places about the farmstore where i get my cheap eggs.

No one knows how to keep a secret anymore. lol

Peanuts for just in case the $2. It was so hard at the bottom, we put it in my little shake blender and just about broke it trying to mix that oil back in.

Still focusing on mind over matter in the eating department. It's tough, but I actually remember being too proud to say I was hungry. I think I found those brian wrinkles on which to settle my appetite.

I made oat milk ice cream tonight, and it was delicious. Just oat milk, peanut butter, monk fruit sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.

Thanks, I'll hang onto that. You never know when it might come in handy. I'm not hung up on no dairy since I've talked to my doc. If I get a taste for ice cream while I'm on my cancer diet, I'll try it. I should say low iodine diet. No dairy asked on that.

This was the second time. Kitchen was the worst.

Unfortunately everybody's gone at work at the same time so he's going to have to just learn that people come back. I think he had a rough start before we adopted him but we'll get it sorted out.
