We have 7 wrecks in town and the detour is closed now.

I told my son to find a restaurant because there's no way he can get home now.

My daughter got to about 10 miles north of here and is stuck.

We just want them HOME!

Watch out all. I don't know if it's just here, but people have done lost their minds!!

We finally made it home after staying with Baby at her house for an hour or so. We couldn't get back to our house as the traffic was backed up on our road.

Daughter & SIL made it home. Now we're just waiting on our son. He had the tougher road coming north. He left 90 min ago. It's normally a 45 minute drive.

I'm hearing the northbound lanes maybe closed most of the evening.

'Vaccidents' perhaps?

I'm seriously beginning to wonder if people aren't having mini strokes from clots in their brains?

My daughter said a car chase passed them just south of Atlanta. Not that it's surprising in that area, just not something we're used to seeing where we live.

We haven't had pork chops in a while!

Last of the teryaki chicken. I think I will make this again just using maybe 2/3 of the sot called for & water down the sauce before thickening if needed. I like that the chicken is came out so tender.

My son finally made it home. 3 1/2 hours for a 40 minute drive.

Glad everyone is home now. Stress relief can begin. :)

I totally get that! It's one thing to get a headache during the course of the day. It is another to wake up with one already raging. That is the worst!! It's like your day doesn't even have a chance.

Same here. Something bad will might happen somewhere this weekend. Hopefully people will keep aware.

I don't know if we're gonna to the be fireworks this year or not. It's basically one main road in and out, so you end up sitting on traffic for at least an hour on the way home.

We might just go to the park during the day with Baby and get some dinner from the vendors. They have a parade in the morning, but I'm not getting up for that.

My son and his friends sometimes set of fireworks. I have to ask if they are this year.

My daughter doesn't do it anymore because her neighbor complained that they was a piece of paper on her car it something like it hurt it.

It's storming here so I made some scrambled eggs with cheddar. Hoping the weather clears so we can go to the park.

If not, we'll be stuck walking around Walmart to get some exercise.

Oddly, I checked w family and two others didn't sleep well last night either.

I think we'll just stick around the house on Monday and watch the fireworks that are set off across the street in the field of the high school. They put on a pretty good show. I've watched it every year since I moved into this house back in 2013.

We have a lot of little kids on our street so I bought some old school paper lunch bags and some microwavable popcorn. I'll make individual bags for the kids to snack on while they watch the fireworks.

I'm trying to get glow bracelets or necklaces to give out too. I may have waited too long. We'll see. I did get some LED light up rings that I can give out. :)

And a funky headband with American flags on it lol. I will so be wearing it!
