I added fresh broccoli, thyme and parm...saved the sauce for storing the other two chicken breasts in the freezer for a quick pre-made meal later on.

Gotta get it before the flowers develop. Otherwise it turns bitter. Having the tray with 5 varieties, it's hard to keep up with! Don't get me wrong but, I nor H_S, want basil on everything. I guess the icecube tray method would work for later pesto but...fresh is still best...
I hope at least a few of you listened to the Susan Weed interviews by Alchemike? Since Pooka's prepper thread kind of went poof, and I don't want to mod similar, I have nowhere to 'stick' good info. LIke this
Thread: ANyone TRy One of These? (Rocket Stove Tech)

I think maybe Pooka is deceased and it wasn't noted here. She seemingly went into the hospital and never came out....she didnt have many IRL buddies. And was always worried that I wasn't prepping up to my skill set. Anyhow. Give the thread a bump now and then because it is good and full of gems.

We had swiss steak made in the crock pot last night. She made it with spicy diced tomatoes this time. Didn't look real pretty but it was very tender and tasty.

Were you saving up for that meal? I wish I had the willpower you do. I'm just a sucker for spoonfuls of PB&J.

I feel like if I could stick to my plan, I'd be losing a bit. I can say I've lost at least 3 lbs in the last 3 months. Doc upped my thyroid meds again so it'll help.

I'm just hungry ALL the time lately. I guess my body is just adjusting.

Thank you for asking:)

No bubbles, but I started using frankincense oil on facial skin. Maybe the smell and absorption is helping? It saddens me that my hidden psoriasis is starting to move onto my face. I've had it for more than 20 years and controlled it w diet. Most I've heard, if it's on the scalp it doesn't effect the body. I know it's an autoimmune disease, but sometimes the best diet restrictions aren't enough. The black cumin oil didn't help, so I've changed treatment method. Best fact is the frankin treats cancer, too. Webmd.

I'm just hungry ALL the time lately. I guess my body is just adjusting.

And, foodie thread creates cravings for me, too. That's why I keep giving away the food I abundantly cook. I am encouraged to cook then give it away to remove the temptation. Thank goodness someone out there wants it. Ate 1 chicken breast, gave 2 away.

My biggest regret is eating bread the past 2 weeks. Gotta switch back to cauliflower.

frankincense is good for headaches so it makes sense. I use it sometimes, though my go to headache blend of peppermint, marjoram, and Bulgarian lavender essential oils in a diffuser. That's always helps at least some on my wrist headaches.

Foodie pics or not, my tummy grumbles all the time. I guess I just need to get used to it. I already drink lots of water.

The tea I sent also suppresses appetite (to me).

I find something to busy my brian and intentionally ignore belly growls; sure enough I survive and am not hungry about 20 minutes later. I set visuals by looking at the clock and saying, 'if I'm hungry at 1:15 I'll eat, but not now'. Sure enough, 1:15 rolls around and my hunger is gone since I've ignored it.

Like right now, growling commences, yet I'll eat after 5 and be proud that I waited. Food is my reward for waiting.

When a person is hungry, a cascade of triggers notifies the brain that the body needs food. One of those triggers is a hormone called ghrelin — "the only mammalian substance that has been shown to increase appetite and food intake when delivered to humans," according to a 2006 review in the journal Physiology and Behavior.

I love all of the recipes!

I have been doing keto for three weeks now and feel great.

I have had the feeling of something moving in my head for two years now. It moves around in circles at times . I have never seen it as anything bad.

Foodie win in the UK

QUOTE
Advisory body deals blow to UK gene editing plans

29 Jun 2022 --- “Not fit for purpose,” is the response from the UK Regulatory Policy Committee (RPC) to government attempts to deregulate food editing of crops and animals.

The Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) is trying to take advantage of the opportunities brought by Brexit to tap into the precision breeding market.

The bill is a key component of the countries’ strategy to become a global innovation hub.

A new law would be tailored to allow food producers to use genetic technologies to speed up traditional crop breeding that would otherwise take years or decades.

Advocates defend gene-editing claiming that it would lead to less pesticide use and could aid with issues like the rapid onset of climate change and it’s impact on vital crops.

It might a little weird to put on your face at first. It wouldn't be that bad though if fresh.

It's certainly better than the shots pharma advertised with death as one of the side effects. Besides not only is it bad for you, half the time it doesn't work like they say.

Urea itself is in most skin care products. Using fresh urine is different because your body urinates unused anti-bodies. Drinking it is a thing itself. I did a 3 day urine fast once. It was 'refreshing'. Felt great after. But then again, many of my former 'clients' do claim I'm a witchdoctor so there is that...lol...

I was able to sell Mr's fat tire bike for enough to get us each new bikes that were on clearance. The other bike was just too hard for him too ride.

I was able to, but it was still too tall for me. It was a boys bike so I would end up smashing my lady bits trying to stop. blink

We bought them off Facebook with our stimulus. We saw them & got excited not realizing how hard they would be to ride. Now that I've ridden the new one, I feel like the old bike was like pedaling a mack truck.

Hopefully, I'll be able to sell mine soon. It'll help pay for new shoes on the truck.

Mr is having hot Italian sausage while I'm having a tuna sandwich. I had a can packed in oil which I think is best for sandwiches as it's not as dry. I buttered the roll, no mayo for me. Air fries again. We'll probably have them again in a few days with turkey sandwiches.
