WOW! Almost 300 pages of Food Attitude!

I can't keep up. Just checking in. We got a breadmaker & I wanted to make a spaghetti or pizza bread where you put sauce in the bread but Mr said no (probably because I would have to think the recipe up but I've done that many times before).

So I made pizza sauce with tomato powder, a little oregano, lots of basil, vinegar, sweetener & I forgot the sea salt but it was still delish. Mix it water to make it spreadable.

I spread it on the bread & it was SO DANG GOOD. I didn't even put olive pieces or pimiento on it, just the amazing pizza sauce.

And then I tried it on sweet potato puffs & it is better than ketchup.
I know it doesn't look like much but I can eat this stuff plain by the spoonful.
Gonna make some more & try it on plantains.

I love beets.
And mashed potatoes without milk or butter. I put some of the pizza sauce on mashed potatos & it was so good.

Been a long day, Dakotas dialysis port clotted and they couldn't do dialysis on Saturday. So they admitted him to the hospital today and will do surgery tomorrow morning to get the clot out.

Wife is there with him now Im at home. We have animals that need tending.

It's a pretty simple procedure that usually takes less than an hour, but rounding up his Dialysis Team is the chore. They been at the ER since 7 am and are just now admitting him.

Yup to both..too hot and too long of a day to cook here, so went to the garden (my happy place) and picked some dinner..lettuce, radish, cuke, cherry tomatoes, peppers, carrots. I also put some beets and crispy onions and almonds on top.

I also would love to try your pizza sauce. I have most of the ingredients in my garden (tomato, oregano, basil) and a lot of local apple cider vinegar from one of my clients.
